Emergency Assistance for financially struggling individuals and families in crisis seeking assistance for such things as food, clothing, rent, and utility expenses. Referrals made for assistance not offered at facility. May also offer seasonal assistance, such as Back-to-School, Christmas toy assistance and Project Bundle-Up where funds are available.

Assists children and their families by providing the necessary items to help a child for the upcoming school year. The children require basic supplies such as pencils, paper, binders, backpacks, but also need things such as uniforms, shoes and clothing.

Offers children free enrollment in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Children receive an age appropriate book each month.

Works hand-in-hand with other community leaders. Creates a safe place to host family and community events. Educates and motivates our village. Hosts back to school barbecues, Easter events, Vision board events, Paint & Sweet events, Valentine's Day events, and much more.

Provides food, nutritional education program (Fulton County Super Cupboard), gardening program each Spring, Summer school lunch program, school backpack program, and budget/lifestyle counseling.

Representative Manny Guzman and Mayor Eddie Moran host the Back to School Resource Fair to help Reading students start the school year off right. Students can receive backpacks, school supplies, haircuts and more all donated by the community. All supplies are first come, first serve basis.
