We partnered with Bucknell University and Susquehanna University to provide remote tutoring for students in Snyder, Union and Northumberland counties (K-12). The tutors are education majors who have their clearances and have been trained. The tutoring is free. All tutoring is done over internet; there is no phone tutoring.

Services include connecting STEM community resources to schools and classrooms, hosting monthly meetings for Philadelphia math and science teachers, and providing free field trips to STEM businesses. Also offers STEM professionals as classroom speakers, tutors math and science, awards grants to teachers for innovative classroom projects, and collaborates with universities on recruitment and preparation of math and science teachers.

Offers drop-in after school programming for youth. Programming includes STEM and Fine Arts activities and instruction, cooking classes, and life skills workshops regularly. Homework help is available daily. After school snack and dinner are provided.

Operates after-school programs to give kids a safe place to play, do homework, and pursue extracurricular goals. Offers enrichment activities in reading, STEM/STEAM, writing, college and career readiness, art, music, film making, sports, and conflict resolution skill-building.

Services: - Before/after school child care

A free Youth Center for children who are in or entering 6th-12th grade. Children do not have to have a YMCA membership to attend. The program offers encouragement, fun, and leadership in our community. Program and facilities include homework help, video and table games, supervised gym games, healthy cooking classes, and special events.

Provides free, one-to-one and small group instruction in reading, writing, math or English as a Second Language to adults who wish to improve basic skills. Tutoring sessions may be held at any public location such as a library, church, community center, or recreation hall.

During the school year, there are weekly meetings available to parents and guardians to share experiences and gain access to more resources.
