Protect residents and visitors of Monroe County from vector borne diseases by minimizing the known risk factors of disease transmission. Programs and services include: Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, Small Rodent Removal Program, Tick Borne Disease Education and Prevention Progam and West Nile Virus Program.

Pest Control Services
Provides immunizations, STD/HIV testing, pregnancy testing, access to breast/prostate cancer screenings, monitoring of chronic diseases, and Tuberculosis testing when available. Lead screenings provided in certain situations, not by the clinic.

Provides outreach and education to the public on mosquitoes, ticks, and other community environment issues. Small animal traps are also available on loan for Allegheny County residents to control nuisance wildlife on personal property. Accepts reports of community environment issues, such as standing water, tires, and abandoned pools. These complaints can be made anonymously.
