Provide access to emergency fire, police and ambulance services in Susquehanna County. Helps to prepare for, manage through and recover from any type of natural disaster, emergency or threat to security that may occur in Susquehanna County.

Provides for the safety and welfare of the public through the preservation of life, health, property, economy, environment, and continuity of government.

Provides a county-wide communications system that permits 9-1-1 access to any individual in need of assistance in Lycoming County; dispatch of the appropriate police, fire, emergency medical services, emergency management personnel, and other affiliated agencies to emergency incidents by certified telecommunicators; and works in conjunction with the County Emergency Management Agency, Regional Emergency Medical Services Council, and Hazardous Materials Planning Division of the Department of Public Safety.
