Answers all emergency and non-emergency calls for Lebanon County. Provides communications between Fire, Police, EMS, EMA, Haz-Mat, local highway, and coordinates communications with other counties and state/federal agencies.
Directs, controls, and coordinates response efforts on behalf of Schuylkill County Commissioners during a major disaster. Also assists both public and private entities in developing mitigation plans to lessen the impact of disasters, through hazardous identification and risk assessment.

All Non-Emergency numbers are direct lines to County-Wide Communications, Lancaster County's 24-hour public safety answering point for all 911 calls. Staff provides emergency dispatch service for police, fire and ambulance needs. Maintains a supply of "911" phone stickers which they can distribute to the public. Provide access to emergency fire, police and ambulance services in Susquehanna County. Helps to prepare for, manage through and recover from any type of natural disaster, emergency or threat to security that may occur in Susquehanna County.
Provides for the safety and welfare of the public through the preservation of life, health, property, economy, environment, and continuity of government.
Provides a county-wide communications system that permits 9-1-1 access to any individual in need of assistance in Lycoming County; dispatch of the appropriate police, fire, emergency medical services, emergency management personnel, and other affiliated agencies to emergency incidents by certified telecommunicators; and works in conjunction with the County Emergency Management Agency, Regional Emergency Medical Services Council, and Hazardous Materials Planning Division of the Department of Public Safety.
