Programs whose primary purpose is to make the public aware of the measures that people can take to reduce the risk of fires or accidents in the home, at school, at work, in the air or on the water or while walking, driving or riding as a passenger in a motor vehicle; and/or which provide instructions for preparing for and surviving an accident should one occur.

Helps find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. Also offers training programs to law-enforcement and social-services professionals.

Local emergency planning committee and safety education.

Task force looks to enhance safety on streets, in neighborhoods and in homes, by promoting positive behavior in Lycoming County. Coordinates programs regarding driver safety, pedestrian safety, babysitting safety, senior safety, and older adult fraud.

Provides information to help eliminate accidental injuries at work, home, and within the community.

Provides police services and assistance to other law enforcement agencies in the Commonwealth.
