Development and outreach of children's injury prevention strategies that include but are not limited to helmet safety, fire safety, farm safety, general/household safety and car seat/seat belt safety. Also provides volunteer speakers/educators, educational materials and games and referral services. Coordinates and schedules car seat checks and child passenger safety technician classes.

Operates a bike shop with tools and a master mechanic who is available to assist with repairs. Offers classes in basic bicycling, traffic awareness, bicycle mechanics, and bike and pedestrian awareness for drivers.

Offers programs and volunteer opportunities that provides the practical training, mentoring and confidence required to help the community integrate bicycling into their everyday life. Programs include:

• Earn-a-Bike: Youth 9-21 fix up and earn a bike while receiving training in bicycle assembly, maintenance, and safety
• Bikes for All: low-income individuals, formerly incarcerated persons, and refugees can get access to affordable and practical transportation
• Youth Bike Workshop: Provides open shop time for youth to come and use shop amenities during designated times, keeping their repair skills sharp
• Adult Mechanic Class: Provides students with an opportunity to get guided experience under the instruction and guidance of experienced bicycle technicians; Geared for the 18+ crowd
• Co-op space where individuals can refurbish a bike under the eye of experienced mechanics as a low-cost option to earning their own bike
• Wheels through the years: Gives elementary-aged children in the School District of Lancaster a bike of their own.

Offers education on bicycle safety, pedestrian safety, school bus safety and accommodations for children with special needs, and safety for young drivers.

Offers programs to educate the community about safety, including bicycle safety education and a car seat safety program. Also provides first aid and CPR training to groups and employers.

Addresses any traffic safety related topics. Provides technical support to local governments, school districts, police departments, health care providers, volunteer and civic organizations, and other professional groups.
