Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton, formerly Hazleton General Hospital, has 150 beds and provides inpatient acute care, rehab care at Gunderson Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, emergency care, maternity and home care. The on-site helipad quickly facilitates trauma patients or transfers. Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital is the regionâ??s Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation accredited level II trauma center. Our trauma center provides patient-centered care from our team of fellowship-trained trauma physicians specializing in trauma, emergency surgery and critical care. Our specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to care for seriously injured patients.
