Pediatric Developmental Assessment
Early Intervention is an entitlement program for children from birth to 3 years, who have a developmental delay of 25% or more in one or more of the major areas of development (physical, sensory, cognitive, language/speech, social-emotional and self-care). At-risk children, including infants affected by premature birth, alcohol, drugs or lead poisoning and infants who have been abused or neglected are eligible for services. An entitlement program means that any eligible child, regardless of financial status, is entitled to receive services. Services include, among others, family training, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and assessment which are coordinated by Support Coordinators.

Provides funding and administrative oversight for services in the community that support people and their families living with serious and persistent mental illness, children and adolescents with a mental health diagnosis, individuals with intellectual disability, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and children birth to age three (3) for early intervention services.

A comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that provides diagnostic, evaluative treatments and referral services for children up to 18 years old who have developmental delays or difficulties, learning problems or have physical disabilities or injuries requiring rehabilitation. Good Shepherd also has contracts to serve as a provider of Early Intervention Services for both Lehigh and Northampton counties for children up to three years old.
