Organ Donor Cards/Registries
Allows individuals to donate their bodies after death to medical and scientific institutions for educational and research purposes. Provides donor transport and cremation on site. Offers families the option of receiving donor's ashes within 6 weeks of request and a follow-up letter with information on the impact of the donation.
Lions Eye Bank provides corneal tissue to the Cornea Service at Wills Eye. Eye and tissue donations are obtained from next of kin within 24 hours of death and distributed to hospitals and ophthalmologists for transplants and research.
