Lends and accepts donations of items such as shower chairs, extended shower chairs, walkers, rollater walkers, toilet raisers, wheelchairs, travel wheelchairs, portable commodes, knee scooters, canes (straight and quad-footed), reachers/grabbers, long handled shoe horns, sock aids, bed rails, and tub rails. Does not take/lend anything electrical. Hiland’s lending program is stocked completely by donations from the community.

Offers Pennsylvania residents who may not have the funds necessary to acquire the assistive technology devices such as walkers, Hoyer lifts, bath seats and toilet seats, transfer benches and transfer boards, bedside commodes, over bed tables, manual wheelchairs, daily living aids (eating, dressing, etc.), assistive listening devices, blind/low vision aids, adapted telephones, communication and computer-related devices, canes and crutches, adaptive games, toys, and recreational devices that would allow them to live, work, and play as independently as possible in the communities of their choice are able to get the equipment for little to no cost. Allows individuals to donate or obtain gently used assistive technology devices.

The mission of the In-Home Support Program is to provide early intervention and prevention. Some services that are offered to eligible homebound seniors (to be determined by a comprehensive assessment), are advocacy, home delivered meals, homemaker service (temporary) house cleaning, laundry assistance, minor home repairs, senior companions, adaptive equipment and transportation.

Offers services to temporarily or situationally homebound adults age 60+ who are in need of assistance to remain or regain their independence in their home. Services designed to be short-term and to help clients get back on their feet and into the community. Services include adult day care services, CCT Transportation, home delivered meals, companionship, respite care, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, incontinence supplies, nutritional supplements, and more.
