Provides resources to clients to assist with interpersonal skills, proper hygiene practices, obtaining identification, obtaining a GED and other educational goals, resume building, self-esteem workshops, mental health awareness, recovery awareness, parenting skills, nutritional training, and budgeting.

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.

Providing a one day homeless kit giveaway that includes sleeping bags, hats, gloves, would kits, narcan, test strips, hygiene products, and more.

Supports individuals that require 24-hour supervision and assistance with daily living skills as well as individuals that require 30 hours or fewer per week of supervision. Services of support available include: A) Housekeeping B) Food preparation C) Banking D) Transportation E) Shopping F) Employment
