United Way of Wyoming Valley - Nurse's Pantry

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.

Salvation Army - Towanda Service Center - Journey of Hope Program

Provides resources to clients to assist with interpersonal skills, proper hygiene practices, obtaining identification, obtaining a GED and other educational goals, resume building, self-esteem workshops, mental health awareness, recovery awareness, parenting skills, nutritional training, and budgeting.
