Provides information and assistance for adults age 60 and older, and their families and advocates. SeniorLine staff members are trained care managers who can answer questions about available services, help people to begin the process of receiving services from the Area Agency on Aging or partners in the community serving older adults.

Long Term Care Options Counseling
Provides an array of long-term care choices based on assessment by Care Managers and establishment of a care plan with the consumer and his or her family. The Care Manager works with the family to cooperatively determine the different types of services, such as Personal Emergency Response System buttons (PERS), Personal Care, Adult Daily Living Services, and other services to help consumers stay in their own homes and communities.

This program is for patients with a life limiting illness or terminal disease. Nurses work with patients who are still receiving aggressive disease treatment and are not yet ready to embrace the Hospice philosophy.
OPTIONS is a program that assesses the Long Term Care (LTC) needs of people and develops a plan of care to meet those needs.
Offers information to seniors and their families that will enable them to make informed and educated choices. Helps prevent physical, mental or financial abuse of older adults.

Our health promotion programs regularly include: exercise, managing chronic conditions, health assessments. Opportunities vary but include activities such as Tai Chi, line dancing, yoga, and classes on healthy aging including good nutrition , injury prevention, emotional well being, art and music. Classes are designed to be fun and interactive. Operates as a cooling center during extreme heat emergencies (Code Red).

Options Care Management helps older adults (age 60 or older) in the southeastern region of Allegheny County to remain as independent as possible by providing advocacy and ensuring that clients have access to needed services.
Provides support and services to enable older adults to continue to live in their homes and communities. Services may include adult day services, companion services, counseling, home environment modifications, inpatient respite care, institutional respite care, medical supplies and equipment, physical, occupational and speech therapy, and aging waiver programs.
