Maintains a list of loan closets that supply medical equipment for loan to community members. Generally the equipment must be picked up, however some groups will make other arrangements. Most groups prefer to serve people within their local area.

FREE open ended loan program for anyone in need of assistive technology items such as, walkers, commodes, large view phones, sock donners, etc. Small $10 processing fee and items need to be picked up at AIM.

Loans medical equipment to members of the community. Also accepts donations of medical supplies and equipment.

Lends a variety of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower stools, bed side commodes, etc. When individuals are no longer in need of the equipment, they return it for others to use. JFS also accepts durable medical equipment donations to keep inventory for when it is needed

Lends and accepts donations of items such as shower chairs, extended shower chairs, walkers, rollater walkers, toilet raisers, wheelchairs, travel wheelchairs, portable commodes, knee scooters, canes (straight and quad-footed), reachers/grabbers, long handled shoe horns, sock aids, bed rails, and tub rails. Does not take/lend anything electrical. Hiland’s lending program is stocked completely by donations from the community.

The only organization in the Lehigh Valley dedicated to assisting persons with all types of disabilities. Provides community outreach and education, independent living skills, information on adaptive technologies/equipment, advocacy, information and referral, peer support, sign language interpreter referral service and specialized housing search and support. Provides information on programs that will pay for home modifications (to increase accessibility). Transportation & Housing Support Connect individuals with disabilities who are homeless to shelters Assistive Technology Offers Information and Assistance for Assistive Technology and Adaptive Equipment inquiries; Supports the Assistive Technology Lending Library/loan program offered statewide; Offers Funding information for Assistive Technology; houses a Reused Equipment Exchange Program, and more.

Provides custom measured manual and power wheelchairs with specialty controls or equipment to improve quality of life. They evaluate current limitations, then create customized rehab equipment specific to individuals needs to provide greater independence. Provide rentals and trial chairs so that the residents receive the correct equipment.
