Supports families of pediatric cancer patients throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania. Unlike other funds, 90% of the money donated to ThinkBIG goes directly towards supporting families. ThinkBIG does not pay the salary of patient care providers, provide funds to support renovations to the local children's hospital, or allocate money to pediatric cancer research.

Provides support for local patients and their families with services that include: comfort gift bags to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer; gift cards for meals after surgery; grants to help with medical, travel, and living expenses; house cleaning for stage 4 members; health lifestyle programs; holiday presents; online peer to peer support; and college scholarships for children affected.

Provides help with low income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals who are not up to date with breast, cervical, colon and lung cancer screenings. This program provides individualized assistance to guide participants through the process of screening and if necessary, treatment and aftercare. The program also includes help finding resources to overcome barriers to screening, such as transportation and childcare needs, as well as matching participants with a primary care physician/practice for future preventative care.

Provides assistance for vision and dental exams/ eqiupment, scholarship funding, community beautification projects, and winter clothing drives.

Provides financial assistance for medical and therapy expenses, utilities, and food. Also offers a sensory gym, emotional support, social events, and physical activities.

Designed to serve the needs of low-income or financially-challenged women by helping them have a positive pregnancy experience. Care coordinators assist women with the required paperwork to receive supplemental or free services. Programming ensures that the expectant mother will receive necessary obstetric services that might have otherwise not been availabel due to lack of insurance.

Guthrie offers several funding sources to existing Guthrie patients such as the Cancer Care Fund and the Veterans Patient Assistance Fund. In addition, the Mark Stensager Human Service Fund offers limited financial help to employees, patients of Guthrie, and people of our community based on emergent needs. Provides emergency assistance to help individuals and families get over temporary setbacks due to illness, unemployment, or other crisis. Assists with the basic needs of food, clothing, housing, and medical expenses.

Health Network comprised of nine hospital campuses plus numerous health centers, physician practices, rehabilitation locations, ExpressCARE sites and other outpatient care locations in seven eastern Pennsylvania counties Community medical and dental clinics provide care for people who are uninsured or underinsured. Also offers a reduced-cost program for uninsured and under-insured families with a household income up to four times greater than federal poverty guidelines. Applications available online, by phone or at hospital cashiers' offices. Health Network Laboratories provides a range of medical laboratory tests.

Operates Chambersburg and Waynesboro Hospital's Financial Assistance Program, also referred to as Summit Care. Exists to provide discounted emergent or medically necessary services to eligible patients. Eligible Services are emergent or medically necessary healthcare services provided and billed by Summit hospitals. Some exclusions apply, such as cosmetic procedures, non-emergent care that is sought out of network, or non-emergent services sought without regard to preauthorization requirements.

Offers programs that provide financial assistance to patients receiving treatment for blood cancers.

Provides emergency financial assistance for rent, utility bills, medications, auto repair, and fuel. Payment is made directly to vendor.

Provides financial assistance and other support to those who wish to terminate a pregnancy but cannot afford a safe, legal abortion.

Provides direct financial assistance to insured patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies require.

Provides third-party payments for partial rental or mortgage assistance, heating oil or electric bills, and miscellaneous expenses for uninsured or underinsured clients. Assistance is limited to one time each calendar year. Allocates available aid resources as equitably and effectively as possible in order to best serve the most clients.

Provides up to $1500 per fiscal year for medical bills related to Spina Bifida but not covered by the Incontinence or Equipment Funds.

Offers assistance to raise funds for children with chronic illness. Provides annual golf outings in the fall, bingo in the spring, and craft fairs in mid to late spring to accomplish this task.

Assists Warren County, PA families who have a child diagnosed with a serious illness with reimbursement for medical related expenses regardless of family income. Reimburses for travel expenses as well as the cost of medical appointments. Sends the family a care package since most families are unprepared with toiletries, clothing, and things to entertain their child/children.

Assist in directing caregivers and families to resources for supporting children with special needs. When possible, organization takes requests for items that are deemed beneficial for a child but may not be covered through medical insurance.

Provides discounts ranging from 50% to almost 100% based on individual family financial needs.

Offers assistance to families who face the need to travel for childhood cancer treatment at select medical institutions across the United States. Funding for transportation, lodging, and meal accommodations is available to eligible families.

The Bob Perks Fund was established to provide financial support for basic necessities to individuals and families dealing with cancer. The goal is to assist with basic necessities that patients cannot temporarily afford due to their illness.

Helps families of children with cancer cope with the extraordinary costs associated with these illnesses.
