The mission of York Cancer Center is to provide excellent clinical care and comprehensive support services to cancer patients. Radiation therapy, medical oncology, surgical services, and outpatient infusion services, as well as oncology social workers, oncology dietitians, nurse educators, nurse navigators and a financial counselor are available at this facility. Also provides mammograms. Outpatient program for cancer patients - provides cancer information, education, and support by registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, and financial counselor. Provides one-time limited financial help with late rent, utilities, emergency shelter in hotel/motel, prescription medicine, clothing required for work, and other services that provide a helping hand to allow people to get on firmer footing.

Provides emergency assistance those who have exhausted limits, resources, or services of other agencies. On-site mini-pantry, emergency clothing, vouchers for emergency food, transportation, medical or rent assistance.

Provides emergency assistance to help individuals and families get over temporary setbacks due to illness, unemployment, or other crisis. Assists with the basic needs of food, clothing, housing, and medical expenses.

Provides emergency assistance for any heating source, fuel, water, medication, clothing, hygiene supplies, transportation, information and referral, and other expenses as funding allows. Cannot provide assistance for funeral related costs or narcotic prescriptions.

Offers medical benefits including doctor visits, hospital services, vision, dental, and prescription benefits, and other programs unique to their plan.

Provides grants up to $100 for emergency needs including medicine, food, utility shut offs and other urgent necessities. Also provides assistance with oil heating emergencies not exceeding 100 gallons.

• Clinical drug trials

Provides direct financial assistance to insured patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies require.

Provides assistance to help individuals participate in pharmaceutical companies' Patent Assistance Programs (PAP)'s. Emergency Assistance with prescription medications is also available for those that qualify.

Provides rapid monetary assistance to transgender/gender-expansive individuals or the parents of transgender youth under the age of 18 residing with the parent. Includes one-time rent assistance, food assistance, mutual aid for utilities, car repair, trans-affirming medication, and bus passes. All payments are made directly to the vendor. Application does not guarantee approval.

Provides emergency financial assistance to eligible PA service members and their eligible family members, and must have a direct and immediate financial need as a result of circumstances beyond their control.

Offers emergency financial assistance for prescriptions, gas, electric bills, and heating fuel. Provides water service payment assistance, with termination notice as funds are available. Screens for the CAP program, offered through Columbia Gas.

Provides a one time only assistance focusing on the following needs: energy assistance, housing and medical assistance. People needing help may call or submit a written application to the organization. All requests are evaluated in confidentiality. The organization also attempts to put applicants in contact with additional organizations that can assist them.

Provides prescription vouchers, redeemable at the Rite Aid on Gay Street. Maximum allowance is $50.00 per client. Offer limited to once every six months. Note: Unable to pay for prescriptions written for narcotics/controlled substances.

Provides assistance for utilities, rent, fuel oil, and prescriptions. NOTE: The amount of assistance varies depending on the program and funding streams available to WCHS.

The SingleCare Prescription Savings Card program is a free resource for immediate savings on prescription medications.

Coordinates and administers services to help clients make decisions and choices about their own care, enabling them to be active in their communities.

Provides a one-time grant for respiratory medications. Applicant must have no insurance coverage and requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Does not usually cover antibiotics.

Assists with the cost of prescribed medications, including deductibles and co-payments for medications.
