Skills associated with daily routines and developed in a natural home environment through training, supervision and functional application. Skills taught may include cooking, shopping, laundry, money management, cleaning, planning and organizing leisure activities, time management, self care, transportation and interpersonal skills. Programming emphasizes individual learning.

Offers a comprehensive outpatient program for patients requiring rehabilitation for various neurological or physical conditions. Patients generally receive two or more hours of therapy, two to four days per week. Provides assistance and care management to Veterans who have a spinal cord or related injury. The team helps Veterans on an ongoing basis to address their needs while dealing with a spinal cord injury while providing education on VA benefits and services to those Veterans. Referrals are made to the Cleveland VA SCI Center for acute rehab needs, an annual evaluation, and specialty services as needed.
