Provides part-time, skilled, intermittent home health services that have been ordered by a physician and are medically necessary to the treatment of an illness or injury. Provides care for people of all ages-from infants to children and adults-recovering from an injury or recuperating from an illness. All services are provided in the comfort and privacy of the patient's own home. Provides consultation services to teachers and other school-based personnel throughout Chester County. Students referred for OT consultation may be experiencing difficulty functioning in the classroom due to fine motor, sensory motor, handwriting and/or organization issues. Students referred for PT consultation may be exhibiting gross motor concerns. Services: Observe students and provide written reports including observations with specific strategies to enhance studentâs classroom performance. Suggest and/or provide adapted learning materials when appropriate. Provide on-site guided practice for pencil grasp, handwriting, scissors skills, computer ergonomics, organization and fine motor and movement activities. Present workshops on topics such as handwriting, fine motor skills, sensory modulation and classroom ergonomics.

Inpatient care includes medical and surgical services, critical care, operating room services, maternity and pediatric care, mental health treatment, acute rehabilitation, and neonatal intensive care. Additional inpatient programs include a mammography screening program and Healthy Beginnings Plus, a prenatal care program for individuals receiving or eligible for Medical Assistance. Emergency services are also available. Outpatient services include laboratory and imaging services, cardiology, cancer care at Ephrata Cancer Center, and sleep apnea diagnosis at the Sleep Disorder Center.
