The mission of York Cancer Center is to provide excellent clinical care and comprehensive support services to cancer patients. Radiation therapy, medical oncology, surgical services, and outpatient infusion services, as well as oncology social workers, oncology dietitians, nurse educators, nurse navigators and a financial counselor are available at this facility. Also provides mammograms. Outpatient program for cancer patients - provides cancer information, education, and support by registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, and financial counselor. Provides help with low income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals who are not up to date with breast, cervical, colon and lung cancer screenings. This program provides individualized assistance to guide participants through the process of screening and if necessary, treatment and aftercare. The program also includes help finding resources to overcome barriers to screening, such as transportation and childcare needs, as well as matching participants with a primary care physician/practice for future preventative care.
