Family centers provide families with a network of services accessible through local schools. Services available include healthcare services/clinics, family literacy programs, PAT (an in-home parenting program for 0-5 years old) summer recreational and enrichment programs, information and referral to other community resources. Nurse practitioner and Community Health Nurses provide services on STD clinic day. The STD Clinic is available on Tuesdays from 9:00am to 12:30pm, and the TB Clinic operates on the 1st Thursday of every month from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Immunizations are free by appointment only on Wednesdays, from 8:30am to 10:45am and 1:30pm to 2:30pm, and are available to individuals with no insurance or underinsurance.
