Provides free year-round education, employment, and empowerment services in Philadelphia for youth and young adults ages 16 to 24 who are out of school or work. Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink® offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring. PA CareerLink® offices comply with the Jobs for Veterans Act by providing priority services to veterans. Local Veterans Employment Representatives and/or Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists are available at PA CareerLink® offices to assist veterans with job search and other employment needs. Job seekers identified as veterans are matched to job orders, before any other job seeker matches are performed.

Provides job readiness and job placement support enabling refugees and immigrants to secure their first jobs in the United States. Services include employment assessment, resume and cover letter preparation, individualized support and advocacy, interview skills training, job search training, job placement, post-placement retention assistance, and job upgrade advice and assistance

Offers classes in High School Equivalency Test preparation, Engish as a Second Language (ESL), Citizenship, and Workforce Preparation. Courses are provided morning, evenings, and online.

Student Veterans of America (SVA) provides military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy necessary to succeed in higher education and following graduation.

Provides job search and placement assistance, skills training, career assessment, and on-the-job training opportunities. Also provides services for eligible youth including internships/work experiences, work readiness training, occupational skills training, case management, guidance and counseling, tutoring, and career awareness/exploration.

Offers free GED instruction and job services for Bucks County youth and young adults ages 16 to 24. Covers cost of all GED materials and test fees. Job services include assistance with resume writing, interview prep, and job placement. Also provides job training for metalworking, industrial maintenance, bookkeeping, Microsoft Office technology and customer service specialist, pharmacy technician, medical assistant, and dental assistant. Also offers computer training and certifications, and more.

Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates. A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.
