Designed to match essential job skills with employee knowledge and ability, the WIN and WorkKeys assessments work together to provide both job seekers and employers with valuable training and information. Clients work through practice tests prior to taking the standardized WorkKeys exam within a controlled environment. If scores demonstrate weakness in a particular subject area, remediation modules and instructor assistance are available.

Also assists with applying for benefits through the Department of Human Services, filing an initial Unemployment Claim, and Workers' Compensation Benefits.

Serves as a one-stop career center providing local job seekers with resources and personalized attention needed to find their next career opportunity. Services include vocational assessment, resume preparation, job finding assistance, hosting job fairs, and free use of space and equipment (computers, fax machine, telephone, etc.) for employment-related purposes.

Preparing for Independence is a comprehensive employment and vocational counseling program open to those needing employment or to improve their lives through better job benefits or greater income. Offers assistance with applying for benefits, job applications, resume building, accessing clothing, and other supports as needed. Also offers opportunities to receive CPR training, become ServSafe and OSHA certified and other trainings as available.
