A Career Advisor from Bradford County Action will be available at specific locations around Bradford County to answer questions about PA CareerLink, resume building, job postings, job search, workshop sign-ups, and other related activities.

Prepares participants for entry-level employment in manufacturing careers, seamless entry into the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Registered Apprenticeship Program, or continued education. Covers hydraulics, industrial electricity, mechanical components, and programmable logic controls. Offers career counseling, resume development, interview preparation, and job finding help. Readies graduates for PMMI Mechatronics Level 1 and ACT National Career Readiness certification exams.

Career Services: Provides resume development, job search support, recruitment events, soft skills training, career credential courses, and more to connect individuals with employers. Reentry Services: Provides record review assistance to individuals. Makes referrals for expungement, assists with pardon application submissions, and connects with reentry-friendly-employers.

Provides employment and educational services. Offers training programs for certifications, support for dislocated workers, employment-related transportation, and job retraining assistance. Assists with applying for benefits through the Department of Human Services, filing initial Unemployment Claims, and Workers' Compensation Benefits.

Provides job readiness and job placement support enabling refugees and immigrants to secure their first jobs in the United States. Services include employment assessment, resume and cover letter preparation, individualized support and advocacy, interview skills training, job search training, job placement, post-placement retention assistance, and job upgrade advice and assistance

Assists clients in obtaining and retaining employment. Help is also provided in finding a job once clients are ready to do so. Job retention is supported with case management, on-the-job coaching, support groups, and professional mentoring.

A one-stop job center that provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Provides case management services to individuals or families who need assistance with food security, interpretation and translation, court processes in domestic, divorce, or child custody matters, finding employment and/or training, information for families on juvenile justice cases, completing higher education applications, and other systems navigation assistance.

Preparing for Independence is a comprehensive employment and vocational counseling program open to those needing employment or to improve their lives through better job benefits or greater income.
