This is accomplished with an array of services for the individual, including career counseling, vocational profile development, situational assessment, job development and placement and job coaching. Job coaching follows the consumer to their new workplace environment, giving the support and assistance while they learn job duties and responsibilities, including specific job tasks and work assignments.

Provides opportunities for teens and young adults to obtain long-term skills that lead to sustainable employment through paid internships and work experience through the YEAH network.

Assists in the successful transitions between high school and college and/or work by helping students gain the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed for their postsecondary success.

Uses an evidence-based treatment model proven to achieve positive results in helping people with mental illness find and keep employment.

Provides a one credit, 120-hour year long elective course for students that is designed to develop and enhance the basic job skills that managers in all businesses and industries require of employees.

Offers individualized, small group, or virtual face-to-face education support. Helps individuals improve basic education skills or provides guidance for a variety of entrance exams. Sessions are confidential and move at the pace of the client.

Creates and manages numerous programs for K-12 students throughout the school year and during the summer months. The partnership is comprised of citizens, educators, business, and government agencies that offer knowledge, training, and guidance to all students to enable them to be competitive members of a world-class workforce.

Offers to help build job training skills, self-esteem, and resiliency through paid and unpaid work in various programs. Supportive and nurturing work environment. Student interns and those fulfilling court-mandated community service requirements are welcome.

Provides a full range of employment services to assist veterans in their search for work. Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink® offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring. PA CareerLink® offices comply with the Jobs for Veterans Act by providing priority services to veterans. Local Veterans Employment Representatives and/or Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists are available at PA CareerLink® offices to assist veterans with job search and other employment needs. Job seekers identified as veterans are matched to job orders, before any other job seeker matches are performed.

Programs aid individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in searching for jobs, refining interviewing skills, and transitioning into the workforce through temporary employment positions. They focus on working with each person in the setting in which they are most comfortable. The Commerce Park Clubhouse offers a variety of employment opportunities such as Transitional Employment Positions (TEP)and Supported Employment, and also provides in-house support for those in Independent Employment. TEP’s and Supported Employment also receive Job Coaching, funded through OVR. Clubhouse administrators try to match members with positions that fit a member's needs and skill sets. Commerce Park Clubhouse has a wide variety of opportunities for members to get involved in everything from cooking to how to use a computer throughout the work day. The Tower Cafe is a vocational training restaurant operated by Community Services Group.

The PA CareerLink is a one-stop job center that provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Offers resume writing and revising, practice interviews, understanding types of training necessary for certain jobs, job search tips, and some skills development for specific entry level career paths.

Provides services that include pre-job guidance, job training, ex-offender programs, mentoring and coaching on parenting issues such as the navigation of child custody, child support, visitation and parenting plans. Facilitates fatherhood workshops in both community and correctional settings.

Provides a 30 day emergency shelter for women, men and children, providing a safe place to stay while working to secure permanent housing, case management, life skills education, employment readiness, and financial literacy.

Provides a peer-run resource center connecting the public to community resources and Workforce/Employment which includes employment skills, career counseling, high school equivalency assistance and reentry assistance. Also Offers a variety of counseling services and support groups for those in recovery from substance use disorders.
