Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates. A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.

Prepares participants for entry-level employment in the advanced manufacturing industry. Teaches skills including reading comprehension, mathematics, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem solving, interpersonal skills, resume preparation, and using job search tools. Learning opportunities include meeting employer partners, guest speakers, and visiting factory and shop locations of potential employers.

Offers assistance with applying for benefits, job applications, resume building, accessing clothing, and other supports as needed. Also offers opportunities to receive CPR training, become ServSafe and OSHA certified and other trainings as available.

Stipends are provided to enrolled clients who participate in sessions to help assist with transportation, food, or childcare expenses incurred while participating. Services include: Paid training program with competitive wages, Training evaluation and goals specific to individual needs, Employment Preparation (explores options, job placement plans, resumes, and interview prep, access to assistive technology), Job Search (search the local job market, contact employers, track job search), Job Placement (match with opportunities that meet job skills, educate employers about special needs), Follow-Along and Job Retention (on-the-job coaching and support, regular communication with employer within the first 30 days of employment, on-going job and skills training, advice on advancement or promotion), Employer Support (special needs education as it relates to workplace modifications, tax incentives for hiring individuals with disabilities), and Follow up services after the training program.

Provide educational, social, political, economic, health and employment services to Hispanic, immigrant and refugee populations in Erie. Services include English language education and interpretation, translation, GED education, immigration services, life skill development, aging, health education and assessment and community diversity training, employment preparation and placement and child day care for client and community families.
