Designed to match essential job skills with employee knowledge and ability, the WIN and WorkKeys assessments work together to provide both job seekers and employers with valuable training and information. Clients work through practice tests prior to taking the standardized WorkKeys exam within a controlled environment. If scores demonstrate weakness in a particular subject area, remediation modules and instructor assistance are available.

Provides diverse supplemental services, including but not limited to resource referrals, transportation to medical appointments, shopping for groceries, personal care items to food bank families, financial literacy program, job search and resume writing assistance, and transitional housing (no emergency shelter available).

Provides assistance for low income individuals preparing resumes and applications and also provides information and referrals to companies looking for workers.

Provides employment services to assist veterans in their search for work. Provides veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring.

Assists clients in obtaining and retaining employment. Help is also provided in finding a job once clients are ready to do so. Job retention is supported with case management, on-the-job coaching, support groups, and professional mentoring.

Provides training in part-time community service assignments and offers assistance in skill development and experience to facilitate transition to unsubsidized employment.

Provides links to resources (organizations, programs, etc.) in Philadelphia that provide job training and/or paid employment opportunities. Includes a wide range of resources appropriate for all job seekers as well as those tailored to the particular circumstances of persons with disabilities, returning/re-entering/formerly incarcerated citizens, and teenagers.

Provides reentry supportive services for families impacted by the criminal justice system. Offers services that include housing assistance, mentoring, case management, referral services, food, clothing, educational support, employment assistance, photo identification cards, driver's licenses, and bus passes for employment.

Provides employment and educational services. Offers training programs for certifications, support for dislocated workers, employment-related transportation, and job retraining assistance. Assists with applying for benefits through the Department of Human, filing initial Unemployment Claims, and Workers' Compensation Benefits.

Provides training facilities, placement programs and related activities for persons who appear to be able to profit from the habilitation programs of the workshop. Provides extended training for individuals who continue to develop skills, behaviors, and attitudes which assist them in becoming more independent and employable.

Offers career seminar series and job fairs for veterans.

Offers a one-year work preparatory program that assists individuals in preparing for and finding employment.

Providing career services, placement, and reentry services. After enrollment program details, including participant responsibilities, are reviewed as well as any barriers the participant has that need to be addressed such as securing identification (photo ID, driver's license, birth certificate, social security card., etc.). While the participant is still incarcerated (pre-release), job readiness services are provided along with career exploration and discussions of education and occupational skills training opportunities. Post-release we continue to coordinate education, training, and employment activities while also encouraging participants in their continuation with any, court ordered or voluntary, mental health services and/or drug and alcohol treatment. We also continue to provide supportive services such as bus passes, work clothing, etc. From the date of initial enrollment, we are in contact with participants for about two or more years.

Supports fathers and father figures through educational programs and career development assistance. Stipends are provided to enrolled clients who participate in sessions to help assist with transportation, food, or childcare expenses incurred while participating. Offers family outings, certificates and certifications, and provides information about and referrals to additional services.

Offers transitional housing and spiritual support. Provides residents with resources to help them obtain job skills, parenting, employment readiness, and etc.

Provides eligible individuals with career counseling, pre-vocational preparation, basic skills improvement, on-the-job training, occupational skills training and job search assistance.

Provides help for veterans experiencing homelessness to seek and gain employment. Connects them with training programs to build skills that will help them to re-enter the work force. Offers job counseling, resume preparation, and job placement.

Provides services that help adults with disabilities find and keep the right job, as well as train companies to find, train and supervise people with disabilities.

Provides services like citizenship classes, financial literacy, and social services in addition, to promoting civic engagement among the fast growing and diverse Latinx and immigrant populations.

Provides eligible veteran households with outreach, assessment, case management, advocacy and assistance in obtaining VA and other benefits, which may include housing counseling, legal support, credit repair, financial planning services, and time-limited, temporary financial assistance.

Provides youth and their families with intensive support in their homes, school and community through our wraparound-advocacy model. Staff meet with youth and families multiple times a week at times most needed by the family, with an emphasis on safety and support. Individualized service plans balance involuntary service demands with activities driven by the family's prioritized wants and needs.
