Offers counseling, life skills education, case management, service planning, and employment service. Program is run by the Allegheny County Human Services Department, Family and Community Services.

After-school program including assistance succeeding in and finishing high school, a healthy and supportive after school environment, and training in fundamental job-site and vocational skills, as well as sailing, rowing, paddling and boat shop projects.

Offers a 6-week summer employment program for Allegheny County residents ages 14-24. Participants have the opportunity to earn money, gain work experience, and develop soft skills to help become college and career ready.

Delivers educational, employment, and training services for youth in 8th to12th grades in Philadelphia. Provides in-person, one-on-one case management services, mentorships, incentives, supportive services, occupational skills, work experience training, entrepreneurship training, and leadership development. Also focuses on behavioral training methods to reduce violence, such as conflict resolution and finding common ground with one another.

Provides paid summer job opportunities and internships for youth through the WorkReady Program. Consists of programs that offer participants the opportunity to explore their interests and career paths and engage in learning experiences that will help them improve their financial literacy, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Provide intensive case management, education, training, work activities, job placement and retention services, and supportive services to move rapidly from dependence to independence through employment.

Provides youth and young adults ages 14 to 26 who are impacted by or perpetrators of gun violence with an opportunity to receive paid employment training, skills, and mentorship. Services includes paid job training with local businesses for 3 to 6 months, wraparound support services, job coaching, and monthly community events driven by youth to foster community cohesion.

Provides young adults ages 17 to 24 who have disadvantages to employment with the chance to earn their GEDs, receive on-the-job training, and earn a wage while doing it.

Provides high-risk youth the opportunity to earn marketable credentials, engage in further education, and secure employment to achieve economic success. Youth can enroll into the program even if they have not finished high school or obtained a GED/high school diploma.

A one-stop shop for career and employment services that include: * PA's job search website that is free to employers and job seekers. New job postings daily. * Workshops and information sessions are available to the public. Can be found on the events calendar. * Comprehensive Career Services - One-on-one with an employment planner. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements. * Work one-on-one with an employment planner to develop an employment plan and outline the path to their next job. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements. * Job Search/Job Club - Individuals can sign up for Comprehensive Career Services. Work one-on-one with an employment planner to develop an employment plan. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements. * Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) serves young adults 17-24 years old who are currently enrolled in school in Berks County. Must meet federal eligibility requirements.

Provides a generalized early start to job exploration. Assists students with disabilities in identifying career interests that may be further explored through individualized Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services.

Offers increases in employment skills and leadership skills of area youth. Allows youth to explore various careers, and understand what is necessary to pursue, obtain and maintain a career.

Provide intensive case management, education, training, work activities, job placement and retention services, and supportive services to move rapidly from dependence to independence through employment.

Provide academic refresher classes to boost skills, employment assistance and job placement opportunities.

Works with youths over multiple programs to help them improve their education or gain job skills/employment.

Offers a 2 week summer camp that allow children to learn to feed sheep, chickens, and a horse, and to bottle feed calves. Provides tours through the historic Hudson house to learn about antique houses and furniture.

Provides out-of-school young adults ages 16 to 24 with academic support, career counseling, and professional development workshops toward developing educational and career opportunities. Services include individualized career development and coaching, GED prep classes and career/educational exploration, paid internship opportunities and pre-apprenticeship referrals, job readiness and life skills training workshops, and transportation assistance and monetary incentives.

Offers access to a resource library that includes: computers with internet access and resume writing software; PA CareerLink registration; resume packets; information on interviewing skills and writing cover and follow-up letters; labor market and training provider information; job listings; information on local agencies, services, and resources; and phone, fax, and copier access for job searching.

Provides youth services including individual referral, youth literacy, Dropout Prevention Program, youth support services.

Provides individualized and small group programming for youth and adults, help with diapers, a weekly soup kitchen, crime reduction efforts, neighborhood watch, referrals, housing improvement programs, community gardens, farmers market, mural art, streetscape improvements.

Provides eligible students with year-round work experience. Students work approximately 24 hours a week for $13 per hour.

Offers paid apprenticeships to youth each semester and during the summer. Apprentices work alongside gardens staff to plant, grow, harvest, and sell foods and herbs in agency urban gardens. Develops leadership skills through creating lesson plans and delivering instruction to Semillas del Futuro participants in weekly classes.

Provides job readiness and job placement support enabling refugees and immigrants to secure their first jobs in the United States. Services include employment assessment, resume and cover letter preparation, individualized support and advocacy, interview skills training, job search training, job placement, post-placement retention assistance, and job upgrade advice and assistance
