Provides assistance to older persons who are caring for the children of family members, and who reside in the same household. Based on assessed needs and the financial situation of the family, the caregiver may be eligible to receive reimubursement for in-home and center-based respite care services, and for limited supplemental services. Services include caregiver training and education, family-centered benefits counseling, and caregiver support groups.

Offers referrals to agencies that provide Caregiver Support services. Monitors and funds these services. Provides primary caregivers with a break from caregiving. Services include reimbursement for out of pocket costs associated with caregiving related services and supplies, education, training, counseling, respite care and more. The program supports individuals who want to live at home but need help with daily activities such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and/or personal care. It is designed to ease the burden for caregivers who are overwhelmed with helping their loved one, managing their own family, and possibly work responsibilities as well.

Offers support and reimbursement to grandparents or older adult relatives who find themselves in a position of raising their grandchild/ relative child.

Support services are available, which include: 1. Information to caregivers about available services 2. Assistance to caregivers in gaining access to the services 3. Individual counseling, organization of support groups, training of caregivers to assist them in decision-making and problem-solving that are related to their caregiving roles and 4. Reimbursement for services and/or supplies.

Provides support services for older individuals who care for children that are related by blood, marriage or adoption.
