The Family Center Program is a home-visiting service for pregnant women and caregivers with children ages 0-5 years old. Using the evidence-based Parents as Teachers curriculum, trained professionals visit families’ homes to provide personalized education and support focused on healthy pregnancies, positive parenting, and early childhood development. The program helps identify and address child developmental delays, parental stressors, and a wide range of family needs, including helping families meet their basic needs. The core focus is on child development education and ensuring children are well-prepared when they enter the K-12 system.

CHIP is short for the Children's Health Insurance Program - Pennsylvania's program to provide health insurance to uninsured children and teens, up to age 19, who are not eligible for or enrolled in Medical Assistance.
