Before-school program “Wake Up, Washington” includes hands-on educational activities and breakfast for all participants. Available to current Washington Elementary School students.

Provides family-centered, value-based program to help nurture the development of every child. Formula, lunch and snacks provided. Full-time children receive free YMCA Membership while enrolled. 1:4 infants, 1:5 young toddler, 1:6 toddlers.

Childcare and early learning program for children age 13 months through 5th grade

After school programs are held in collaboration with participating school districts in Northumberland County. School faculty and staff provide student referrals for programming. Programming provides supervised care and activities to build skills for literacy. Assistance with homework is also provided. This supportive environment aims to foster social and emotional skills that will help students build self confidence in academics at school. There is no cost for this program.

After School Programs include: - Informal education/tutoring - Health and physical education - Social and recreational activities - Outdoor recreation, including summer day programs at Camp Hogan (6 weeks, M-F, $20/week, ages 6-10) or the club - Employability programs including Job Ready, Career Explorers, Junior Staff and Apprenticeships for youth from 12 to 18 years.

Offers access to supports and services for any youth up to age 18 living in Allegheny County as a diversion to the Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare Systems.

Provides a traditional preschool and Pre-K program focusing on kindergarten readiness skills. Offers full day and part day schedules with extended care available before and after.
