Provides transportation services to clients of Centre County Government and other social service agencies. Centre County transportation is a "shared ride" demand-response service.

Provides escorted rides directly to and from medical appointments, banks, grocery stores, and other necessary appointments. Volunteers also shop for individuals who can not leave their homes, carry groceries, and/or put away the food.

Provides non-medical In-home care services to eligible participants in the Community Health Choices(CHC) program. Services include but are not limited to assistance with daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, light housekeeping, companionship and shopping errands. In addition to the CHC/Waiver program, Angels On Call also provides services to participants seeking care with Private Duty, VetAssist, Adult Protective Services and ODP programs. Our agency aides also provide care for participants dealing with disease management, and dementia & Alzheimer’s.

The advocate does not give legal advice, but shares information about the law including what legal options are available, and how to assess legal recourse. Provides information on Protection for Abuse orders. Program participants choose what, if any legal action they wish to take. Counselor/Advocates are available to accompany a victim of domestic or sexual violence to the hospital for an examination and/or treatment.

Provides a variety of services including computer training, shopping, mail reading, bill paying, assistance with paperwork and completing applications, transportation and escort services to doctor visits and grocery stores, information and referral services, recreational services, call-in service to provide the news and recent local obituaries, and other help with day to day living.
