Offers Easter baskets to go for eligible individuals and families.

Formed in 1986, this all volunteer group raises money and collects food to distribute to needy families. The food is given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Groceries given to each individual or family are equivalent to two grocery bags and include items such as a 10-12 pound turkey, eggs, milk, bread, potatoes, frozen vegetables and fruit. Monetary donations are welcome and are used to defray the costs of purchasing the groceries. The cost to feed one family is generally about $30.00. In addition to regular weekly distributions, we provide enhanced food offerings at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter that may include holiday meal staples such as turkeys, hams, and other groceries for a festive meal.
