Community Alternatives provides comprehensive behavioral health services, including monitoring services.

Provides in-home care that includes light housekeeping, light cooking, personal care, respite, and companionship.

Provides supervised home care that includes personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and respite care.

Provides non-medical home care, respite, companionship, and community integration support services to disabled and aging clients, ages 18+, residing in the service area. Services include case management, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral care, companionship, food shopping, meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, telehealth services, and accompaniment to medical and community appointments. Also provides assistance with applying for Medicaid funded services.

Provides non-medical home care. Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Includes transportation and dementia specialists.

Works with individuals and families to identify all of the potential resources available to the senior in order to enable completion of the requested chore - snow shoveling, leaf raking, yard work, lawn mowing, moving items, etc.

Program that provides assistance in performing routine household, yard and personal care activities for older adults, people with disabilities, eligible low income people, families whose normal routines have been disrupted by an emergency or others who need or want these services. The objective of in-home assistance is to help the recipient sustain independent living in a clean, safe and healthy home environment.

Operates an after-school program from September to May. Offers summer enrichment program at a designated Harrisburg City Park. Provides homework assistance, tutoring, one-on-one and group mentoring, culinary arts classes, sewing classes, financial literacy classes, literacy circle, arts and crafts, CPR/First Aid training, various recreational activities, and much more.

Offers the following services to eligible elderly or disabled clients: assistance with personal care and hygiene; homemaker services such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation; transportation; respite services; companion services; and case management. Also offers the Senior Health Specialist Program through which registered nurses provide health screenings and counseling, disease management education, nutrition education, and medication review for senior clients.

Provides a professional homemaker to take care of responsiblities that include meal planning and prep, washing dishes, light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, grocery shopping, pet care, and plant care. Homemaker can be a few hours a week or full time.

Offers personal care and support services in the privacy of their home, for a few hours, days or an extended period of time. A registered nurse will assist persons in choosing the most helpful services. Support services include bathing, dressing, medication assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, companionship, shopping assistance and transportation.

Provides home health services to assist persons with disabilities and older adults with activities of daily living (ADL) to promote independent living; Services include: A) Homemaker services such as shopping, laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation B) Fiscal management C) Personal care Assistance with self-administered medications, feeding, bathing, grooming, assistance with ambulation, toileting, and transfer activities D) Attendant care for eligible adults under the age of 60, who are mentally alert and physically disabled, helping them live as independently as possible in their own homes while they seek or maintain employment E) Respite care F) Service coordination and Activities of daily living

Provides assistance to eligible veterans. Service options include homemaker services, personal care and assistance, and respite care.

Provide the following services: ADL's, bathing, blood pressure monitoring and care, bowel care, caregiver notes, denture care, dressing assistance, exercise support, feeding, grooming assistance, housekeeping, hygiene support and monitoring, IADL's, incontinence support, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, monitoring catheter output, monitoring fluid intake, monitoring oxygen use, shopping and errands, special diets, toileting, transfer assistance, transportation and turning. All aides are trained in accordance with the guidelines of the PA Dept of Health. Staff must go through background checks. Caregivers are screened for tuberculosis and are certified in CPR. All aides are insured and bonded and covered by workers compensation.

Provides families with the support and assistance needed to make the most of their days together. Offers compassion, moral support, and help around the home during especially emotional situations.

Provides person-centered, in-home and community-based, services that connect clients with resources needed to remain in their homes. Services include assessment of needs, referrals for public benefits, assistance with applications, and emotional support. Offers a Senior Intensive Support Program to help with medication and prescription compliance, obtaining food and/or accessing the grocery store, coordinating transportation, teaching Intensive Adult Daily Lifeskills, and money management.

Provides non-skilled In-Home Caregivers to help clients gain and maintain new independence in essential activities of daily life. Services include bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, food prep, shopping and errands, light housekeeping, socializing, encouraging engagement, and respite for family caregivers. PennCares community habilitation services-for adults ages 21 and up with intellectual disabilities. PennCares community habilitation services foster personal growth with goal-oriented activities to develop and enhance independent living, recreation, socialization, and other life skills.

Assists eligible residents who need assistance to accomplish daily living tasks. Services include light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and errands. Personal Care Services consist of bathing, dressing, grooming, food preparation, eating, ambulating, medication reminders and health maintenance activities. Qualified individuals may also be eligible for shopping, laundry and housekeeping assistance.

Provides in-home assistance, including home nursing care, home health aides, personal care, and homemaker assistance. Includes arrangments for long term, short term, and respite care.

Provides skilled nursing, therapy, medical and social services, along with personal care services that support all the activities of daily living.
