Subjects covered include reading, writing, spelling, math, technology and/or English as a Second Language, with needs addressed on an individual as-needed basis. Students are matched with trained volunteer tutors who meet with them in a community location once or twice a week.

Free classes are given at OIC sites in West Chester and Phoenixville, and offer four levels of instruction with both day and evening times. CC-OIC teachers instruct non-native English speakers from beginner to advanced. Students with advanced English speaking ability are encouraged to enter GED and postsecondary education.
