Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, formerly Americaâs Walk for Diabetes, is about changing the face of diabetes in our country by raising funds to help find a cure and walking a few miles for greater awareness to this devastating disease. Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes is a whirlwind day packed with energy, fun, support for others and a perfect amount of selfless dedication. Anyone can take part in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes; your participation isnât measured by the dexterity or the speed you walk, but by the level of your enthusiasm and your commitment to ending diabetes. Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes was born as the result of the need to take greater action in the fight against diabetes.
