Supervised Living for Older Youth
Provides help in learning skills to become more independent. Staff member can provide assistance in your home to acquire those skills. Such skills could include budgeting, preparing meals, shopping, using public transportation or finding employment.
Pathways Academy is an intensive 9-18 month curriculum-based, residential training program that helps adults with intellectual disabilities learn the skills needed to live with minimal supports in the community.
Assists clients with securing entitlements, housing, and in accomplishing goals to become more self-sufficient.

Participants choose a specific goal in one of the life domains (living, learning, working, social), this goal then becomes the cornerstone of his or her recovery-focused service. Participants take part in classes, individual practitioner meetings, and community exploration related to his/her recovery goal (a commitment of 5 hours per week). Class sizes are limited to allow for focused work among participants.

Clients are each assigned a primary counselor who they will meet with individually for weekly sessions to identify, measure, and work on treatment goals and objectives. Provides a safe communal space where youth in dependent care can be connected, educated, and empowered as they strive toward attaining and maintaining independence. Provides independent living skills and support services to youth and young adults ages 14 to 23 who are involved in the foster care system. Also provides educational support services to AIC members, such as homework help, college tours, college preparedness, and guidance and assistance with college applications and scholarships.

ILP is a partnership between the Erie County Office of Children and Youth (OCY), Family Services of NW PA, and Bethesda Lutheran Services. Partnered services include individual counseling, life skills groups, job preparation, assistance in enrolling in higher education, and assistance in obtaining adequate housing.
