EASE provides maritime opportunities for individuals with mental and physical challenges. Specially designed sailboats, called Hansa Dinghies, provide a safe, effective platform for sailors to enjoy barrier-free sailing. A team of highly-skilled volunteers, mainly teachers, volunteer their time to create a nurturing, empowering experience.

Melmark offers indoor and outdoor pools, a covered riding arena, gymnasium, multi-service recreation center, and interactive playgrounds. Students visit surrounding communities regularly for shopping, exercise, and entertainment.

Uses tennis as an instructional tool to teach the importance of healthy habits, the benefits of physical fitness, and good nutrition; and to teach life lessons in the relevance of citizenship, through character development. It also places an emphasis on good sportsmanship in an activity that requires participants to act as their own referees.
