Offers in-person and virtual opportunities for older adults to meet and participate in activities that suit their interests and abilities. These include exercise, crafts, games, lectures, wellness programs, and social opportunities.

Provides social and recreational opportunities for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (HoH) children and youth to interact with other members of the Deaf and HoH community. Weekly activities and special events are available.

Offers a youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental basketball skills while teaching teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Pairs volunteer mentors with students, to inspire and train alongside them in pursuit of completing a half or full marathon.

Promotes running, racing, and healthy living in York County.

Provides children age 3 to 18 with role models and a safe place to go after school, on weekends and during the summer months. Offers dance, swimming, sustainable design, tutoring help, robotics and more. Adult fitness memberships, as well as training, and meeting rooms are available during non-youth program periods.

Offers a wide range of recreational activities for individuals and families of all ages. Available activities include swimming, fitness classes, youth sports, and open gym times, designed to promote physical health, fun, and social interaction.

Provides 6 40-minute classes per session at Erie High (Central), Strong Vincent and East School Swimming Pools. At the conclusion of the session, a progress report will be given to each child with a recommended level for the next session. Also offers a lifeguard skills class, lifeguard certification class, and open swim.

Operates a year-round park, patrolled by York County Park Rangers. Offers a trail that is a 10-foot-wide compacted stone surface designed for hiking, bicycling, running, and horseback riding, as well as winter sports such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Facilities along the trail include benches, picnic tables, and restrooms. Communities along the trail offer more extensive services and facilities.

Offers intercollegiate sports and recreational programs.

Adult team sports: basketball, soccer, pickleball, volleyball and golf. Youth sports also available.

Advocates, promotes, and provides sports, recreational, and social opportunities for blind and visually impaired youth and adults. Offers sports instructions, clinics, camps, training, and competition through weekly activities, special events, and partnerships.

Offers recreational sports leagues for adults and youth.

Offers athletics, arts, and STEAM programs for children and youth that provide instruction, practice, and play time. Sports available include baseball, basketball, flag football, e-sports, field hockey, soccer, softball, T-ball, ultimate frisbee, and more.

Our residential program offers alternatives for living on campus and in the community. Melmark offers indoor and outdoor pools, a covered riding arena, gymnasium, multi-service recreation center, and interactive playgrounds. Students visit surrounding communities regularly for shopping, exercise, and entertainment.

Offers recreational activities for adults and youth, community events and programs, facility and equipment rental. Hosts area scouting groups, karate classes, community parties, and an annual strawberry festival held in June. Free summer playground program for area youth.

Offers a day camp for youth ages of 6 to 12. Activities include instructional swimming, archery, art, drama, nature, crafts, sports, and games. Campers are grouped according to grade and gender.

Provides academic, recreation, and cultural activities, during the school year and during a six-week summer program. Provides snacks.

A low cost fitness center run by community volunteers.

Offers monthly virtual support groups, on-site vision support services, trainings, and informal group meetings. Loans vision-related assistive technology, conducts eye exams, and supplies eyeglasses for those who cannot afford them through referrals or funding. Also provides employment opportunities for individuals who are legally blind, and public education to prevent blindness and vision impairment.

Church sponsored program for adults in the community. Friday activities for older adults (age 55+). All are welcome.
