Activities and services include homework help, digital literacy training, mentoring, sports and games, nutrition education, gardening, and more.

Offers daily lunch, nutrition and general interest topics, daily living skills, exercise classes, computer and technology assistance , arts and crafts programs, day trips, and a cooling center.

Partners with schools and community centers across the city to offer wrestling programming to Philadelphia youth. Also offers a mentoring program at headquarters for high school participants of the wrestling program; mentoring includes homework help, test prep, and college/career readiness assistance in a safe environment.

Offers a park made up of old agricultural fields and an uneven-aged forest. Provides a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities and unique park features, including multi-use trails open to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Features an Animal Activity Area, pavilion rentals, fishing activities, limited hunting, and a Dog Training Area.

Provides local opportunities for veterans and the community to connect through physical and social activity. Hosts weekly fitness activities, monthly social events, and participates in local races and events together.

Hosts a weekly community cookout providing food, games, and activities for the community at Jefferson Park.

Offers over 60 different classes and activities weekly including exercise classes as well as trips, dominos, electronic darts, chess, shuffleboard, movies and bridge. Some classes are free while others charge a small fee. Call for more information.

Offers intercollegiate sports and recreational programs.

Community Service has more than 500 supervised academic, athletic, community outreach and performance-oriented co-curricular programs are available in the District, from elementary school technology clubs to high school varsity sports. In addition to serving student programs, the District's facilities are utilized by thousands of community members for enrichment programs, recreation and general use. The program works with faculty, parents and students at the ten schools to promote existing service efforts, provide resources and develop new service opportunities and programs.

Offers public riding lessons for from April through November. Winter lessons are held as weather permits.

Provides children with an opportunity to participate in games such as basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, ping pong, cornball, pickleball as well as crafts, and table games.

Our residential program offers alternatives for living on campus and in the community. Melmark offers indoor and outdoor pools, a covered riding arena, gymnasium, multi-service recreation center, and interactive playgrounds. Students visit surrounding communities regularly for shopping, exercise, and entertainment.

Teaches swimming at all skill levels, lifeguarding, and water safety.

Offers a variety of recreational, educational and physical activities for area youth and adults.

Offers Zumba classes three days a week.

Adult team sports: basketball, soccer, pickleball, volleyball and golf. Youth sports also available.

Provides a homework club and after school programs for school age children, as well as an extracurricular program including art, gymnastics, dance, music, drama, voice, and more.

Offers Fitness programs for children and adults, Youth sports programs, before and after-school child care (Dover School District and Central School District), an Active older adult exercise program, and part-day child care for preschool-age children, ages 2-5 years.

Offers leisure programs for all ages. Activities are scheduled year-round in Elizabethtown Area School District facilities, as well as various other indoor and outdoor locations. EASE provides maritime opportunities for individuals with mental and physical challenges. Specially designed sailboats, called Hansa Dinghies, provide a safe, effective platform for sailors to enjoy barrier-free sailing. A team of highly-skilled volunteers, mainly teachers, volunteer their time to create a nurturing, empowering experience.

Provides cultural programs, special events, holocaust education, health and wellness programs, a food pantry, aquatics programs, Jewish and non-Jewish adult enrichment programs, childhood education and development, preschool, childcare, before and after school care, and summer camps. Provides referrals to other community resources as necessary.

Provides meals, counseling, health seminars, social activities, recreational and educational programs for seniors.

Free aquatic classes for people 60 and over available throughout the community year round. Instructors lead participants thorough a one hour class that incorporates cardiovascular and strength exercises.
