Grief and loss support for Warren County residents dealing with the death of a friend or family member. All services are free of charge. Individual and group counseling is available to children and adults. Other services include Suicide Grief Support group, quarterly Grief Workshops, children’s summer grief day camp, Grief Yoga and monthly Women’s Support Group.

Grief support for children, adolescents and their families. Child focused, family based, peer support.
Provides peer-to-peer grief support groups to youth, grades K through 12th, and their adult caregivers after the death of someone close to them. Peer groups are available for children, teens, and young adults, and are separated by the developmental age of the participants. Kindergarten to 2nd grade-aged children attend groups together with their caregivers. Caregivers can also meet separately in adults-only group meetings. Uplift also offers specialized grief supports for Spanish-speakers, LGBTQIA+ youth, justice-involved students, and youth homicide survivors throughout the year. Uplift’s Philly HopeLine, a free telephone helpline staffed by Uplift’s clinicians, is a connection point for youth and caregivers to receive emotional or grief support, sign up for grief groups, or connect to community resources.

Hospice care can be provided at home, in long term care facilities or in St Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem. Hospice also provides bereavement support and guidance for anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one, regardless of where their loved one died. Bereavement support services are free-of-charge, open to all and include support groups, workshops for adults and children, lectures/discussions and services of remembrance. Ryan's Tree is a six-week guided peer support program designed for children and adolescents, age 5 - 18, who are grieving the loss of a family member or friend. Offers age-specific peer support groups for children ages 3 through 17 years that meet every other week for one to one-and-a-half hours in the "talking circle" to share, play games, and do creative, hands-on, activities. Provides parents or adult caregivers an opportunity to participate in adult support groups to discuss concerns about raising children and teens in grief, and to share their own experience of grief.
Offers a six-week daytime educational support group for adults aged 50+ who are trying to cope with the loss of a spouse, life partner, parent, child, or close friend.
