Supports adults living with a mental illness in their social, educational, employment, and spiritual development. Programs include cultural and educational trips, holiday gatherings, neighborhood dinners, peer led support groups, and virtual wellness sessions.

Offers a free, 8 week/session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidenced-based program.

Depression Support group

Provides an OCD support group that is a self-help discussion group that offers information, support, and encouragement to persons diagnosed with OCD and its spectrum disorders and to their friends and families.

Provides a virtual peer-led support group for persons with panic, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders to share strengths, coping mechanisms and concerns. Also offers Educational materials.

Provides support, education, and advocacy efforts for families of adults with a mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. Offers meetings, education, and practical information. The group is for family members, friends, consumers, and professionals; adults only. The General Membership group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Self Help Alliance Drop in Center. The Family Support Group meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Newman Center.

Provides counseling assessment and treatment for individuals, families, couples, and children. Offers support groups in addition to therapy conducted by licensed clinical social workers, professional counselors, and psychiatrists. Provides family consultation for children with special needs for issues with aging and caring for older adults.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who’ve been there.

Participants choose a specific goal in one of the life domains (living, learning, working, social), this goal then becomes the cornerstone of his or her recovery-focused service. Participants take part in classes, individual practitioner meetings, and community exploration related to his/her recovery goal (a commitment of 5 hours per week). Class sizes are limited to allow for focused work among participants.
