YMCA helps strengthen the community by offering a variety of programs aquatics, community support programs, family programs, health and wellness programs, special events & birthday parties, sports & leisure, and youth and teen programming.

Offers youth and adult wellness, athletic, and aquatic programs. Transportation can be provided for certain programs. Also offers school-age child care, a day camp, youth sporting programs, and a swim team. There are three branches in York County associated with this organization.

Supportive housing for chemically dependent and homeless men with mental health concerns.

Offers extended care before and after school hours. Offers activities including sports, games, crafts, character development, homework supervision, and snack. Enrichment programs include math, reading, and science.

Early Childhood Education is the foundation for a lifetime love of learning. Research has shown that children who attend quality early childhood education programs have greater academic success throughout their lives. YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County operates our Preschool with a focus on the standards set by the PA Department of Education. We offer fun school experiences for children ages 3-5. All preschool staff and employees of the YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County have FBI, PA Criminal Background & PA Child Abuse Clearances on file.

YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County's Empowerment & Prevention Education department manages in-school youth violence prevention education, in-school and after-school empowerment programming, and our Community Racial Justice Coalition. Empowerment & Prevention Education Provides programs for children in elementary, middle, and high-school in empowerment, mentorship, healthy relationship building, and leadership. We are dedicated to making a true and life-long impact on the students we serve in an effort to empower the next generation of change-makers and leaders.

Provides health and wellness activities, group exercise classes, aquatic activities, youth sports and youth swim lessons, recreational activities, community activities.

Childcare provided on scheduled in-service days and scheduled half days when there is no school. Center must have a total of 10 registrants to offer school's out days. Offers half and full day costs. First come, first served basis.

Provides daycare for children, age 6 weeks-6 years.

Provides: Six shelter rooms for single parents, referred by CHART and verified homeless. Case management consists of budgeting, housing, employment, mental health referrals, childcare referrals and any additional services that are needed for the client to move out. Twelve Single Room Occupancy (SRO), section 8 for female identified, both verified homeless and referred by CHART. Income based permanent housing. 20 rooms private pay. Rent is based on fair market value, however if rent is more that half of the person's income the tenant will only pay 50% of their income. Single female identifying persons may apply in person or online.

Nurtures the "whole girl" by cultivating physical and emotional well-being, building healthy habits surrounding nutrition, fitness, and stress-reduction, developing positive behaviors (accountability, goal-setting, resilience, self-confidence, self-care).

Offers physical fitness, health education, aquatics and child care programs.
