Offers a variety of training and education programs to inspire people to serve the community in leadership positions. Programs offered include Board Development, Executive Connections, Future Leaders of York, Leadership for Diverse Schools, Leadership Training Program, and Mentorship York.

The program includes adult basic education, English as a Second Language (ESL), high school equivalency GED instruction, health literacy, computer literacy, workforce development programs, career counseling, support service counseling, college access counseling, workshops, and volunteer training.

Volunteers complete service projects through out Schuylkill County, primarily at Partner Agency locations. Projects vary from gardening, painting, basic clean up duties, and similar repairs/major cleaning.

A ministry that connects churches with the needs of the community. Some examples of the volunteer services provided are personal care, friendly visits, transportation, homemaking assistance, home maintenance, budget guidance, respite care, and tutoring/mentoring. Financial aid not available.

Provides a forum for leadership development. Participants learn more about the region, education, social services, and culture, among other topics.

Provides assistance with daily tasks and encourage participants to stay active and connected. Recruits volunteer Adults 55 or older who want to share their experience and compassion for others to become a Senior Companion. Provides holistic support services for immigrants and refugees. Assists elders, adults, and families on employment support, digital literacy, Digital Navigator helpline, naturalization assistance, public benefits, health insurance, intimate partner violence, ESL, health access, information and referral, case management, advocacy, community programs, and collaboration with other health care and social service providers. Provides voter registration, voter education, and voter protection supports.

Matches adults, age 55 and older, with volunteer opportunities that suit their skills, interests, and availability. Volunteers can receive AmeriCorp Member Benefits during term of service including living allowance, money for college/trade school, loan deferment, professional development, and an alumni network.
