Provides the client choice food pantry, and a free clothing store. Clothing store also distributes personal care items as they are available.

Offers a variety of training and education programs to inspire people to serve the community in leadership positions. Programs offered include Board Development, Executive Connections, Future Leaders of York, Leadership for Diverse Schools, Leadership Training Program, and Mentorship York.

The program includes adult basic education, English as a Second Language (ESL), high school equivalency GED instruction, health literacy, computer literacy, workforce development programs, career counseling, support service counseling, college access counseling, workshops, and volunteer training.

Volunteers complete service projects through out Schuylkill County, primarily at Partner Agency locations. Projects vary from gardening, painting, basic clean up duties, and similar repairs/major cleaning.

Matches the talents, skills, and experiences of a volunteer with volunteer opportunities at area non-profit agencies, schools, government offices, and other organizations. Examples of services completed include building ramps, tutoring, visiting, grocery shopping, computing, knitting, serving, and driving. Volunteers choose to serve daily, weekly, monthly, or at at-need, accommodating their own schedules.

Provides holistic support services for immigrants and refugees. Assists elders, adults, and families on employment support, digital literacy, Digital Navigator helpline, naturalization assistance, public benefits, health insurance, intimate partner violence, ESL, health access, information and referral, case management, advocacy, community programs, and collaboration with other health care and social service providers. Provides voter registration, voter education, and voter protection supports.

Volunteer Opportunities include Meals on Wheels distribution, Centers for Healthy Aging services, APPRISE Insurance Counseling, and the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program.

Provides assistance with daily tasks and encourage participants to stay active and connected. Volunteers also provide needed respite for caregivers so they can run errands, take a needed break or tend to themselves, their families and other commitments. Recruits volunteer Adults 55 or older who want to share their experience and compassion for others to become a Senior Companion. Senior Companions receive a small tax-free financial stipend, training, and transportation cost (mileage) reimbursement.

Recruits and trains individuals to volunteer at mobile distributions sites, help load the truck on distribution days, and lift boxes that can weigh up to 50lbs.
