Offers trained community members who, acting as trauma responders, support and lead responses to stress, trauma, loss, and violence within their own communities. Clearfield County Victim Witness Program - Clearfield County Victim Witness Program

Provides information and assistance to victims and witnesses of crime. Offers specialized services to families of homicide by vehicle and murder victim families, including a support group. Victim Compensation Program is for victims of a personal injury crime. It can help pay doctor bills, hospital bills, lost earnings, costs of wheelchairs and mileage to doctor's appointments. In homicide cases where the victim had no insurance, it can help pay for the funeral. People may be eligible for compensation even if an arrest is not made; they must have filed a police report. Services include but limited to: Assistance with restitution, Supplying information on case status, Crisis counseling, Accompaniment to court proceedings.
