Crisis Residential Treatment
Crisis Residential Program (CRP) at Natale provides a safe, structured setting where adult patients with urgent/emergency needs can receive crisis stabilization. The CRP at Natale provides interim rehabilitative care and support to individuals with mental illness as an alternative to more restrictive inpatient admissions.
Offers a 30-day program that includes crisis follow up services, therapy, and medication management. Designed for clients whose needs cannot be met in a traditional outpatient setting.
The Crisis Response Center at Pennsylvania Hospital provides a safe, caring setting for people who have serious behavioral health problems such as bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia or substance abuse. The Crisis Response Center is also appropriate for people with psychiatric problems who may be overwhelmed by homelessness, unemployment, legal or financial problems, or those experiencing the emotional consequences of physical illnesses such as HIV or AIDS. Staff members work closely with patients to determine the nature and cause of their mental health problems, to provide immediate care and to make arrangements for inpatient or outpatient services. The Crisis Response Center offers a full line of treatment options which are provided at Hall-Mercer or at one of many other agencies with whom Hall-Mercer has a relationship.

Provides phone counseling 24 Hours a Day. Mobile crisis unit, will travel anywhere within Allegheny County to provide support services. Walk-In Center, doors are always open when you need to talk about your concerns or those of a family member or friend. Residential service is a short-term alternative to hospitalization for people with mental health problems.

Provides a A 24-hour walk-in facility. The CRSU is available to divert crisis situations where individuals may need added support on a 24-hour basis but do not quite need the level of safety support provided by an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Crisis counselors can help connect these individuals with services and resources to be successful in the community. It is an 8 bed unit that provides a less restrictive option to help manage individuals in crisis.

Crisis Residential Treatment
Provides short-term residential accommodations and continuous supervision for eight individuals in psychiatric crisis. The program provides mental health and stabilization services as a voluntary alternative to hospitalization. Individuals enter the program for up to 10 days until they stabilize or other arrangements can be made for them.

Eight-bed community alternative to inpatient mental health hospitalization. Designed to be a home-like setting for residents to work on building support with other community resources. Residents receive 24-hour care including daily opportunities to meet with a licensed prescriber for medication management, around-the-clock nursing, daily therapy, recreation activity, and access to peers.
Provides intensive, short-term residential treatment (mental health and substance abuse).
