Provides phone counseling 24 hours a day. Mobile crisis unit will travel anywhere within Allegheny County to provide support services. Drop-in services are always available. Residential service is a short-term alternative to hospitalization for people with mental health problems.

Treats young adults ages 18 to 26 with symptoms from anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, Borderline Personality Disorder, early onset psychosis and/or substance abuse psychosis, and other conditions. Specialties include treating addictive behaviors, failure to launch, and issues experienced by the LGBTQ+ community.

Provides psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing acute distress, emotional disturbance, or serious mental illness. Includes residential services (Safehaven Crisis Residential Unit), outpatient counseling, and intensive outpatient services.

Crisis Residential Program (CRP) at Natale provides a safe, structured setting where adult patients with urgent/emergency needs can receive crisis stabilization. The CRP at Natale provides interim rehabilitative care and support to individuals with mental illness as an alternative to more restrictive inpatient admissions.

Offers a 30-day program that includes crisis follow up services, therapy, and medication management. Designed for clients whose needs cannot be met in a traditional outpatient setting.

Provides hospitalization to adults at risk of harm to self or others, or otherwise unable to care for themselves because of serious mental illness. Offers intervention, assessment, psychiatric treatment, discharge planning, and counseling by certified addiction specialists, recovery and educational groups, and on-site 12-Step meetings led by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) speakers.

Provides a A 24-hour walk-in facility. The CRSU is available to divert crisis situations where individuals may need added support on a 24-hour basis but do not quite need the level of safety support provided by an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Crisis counselors can help connect these individuals with services and resources to be successful in the community. It is an 8 bed unit that provides a less restrictive option to help manage individuals in crisis.

Offers a range of drug and alcohol use rehabilitation and treatment programs including intensive outpatient services, partial hospitalization programs, medical assisted treatment (MAT), medically monitored residential detox, outpatient services, counseling, telemedicine, and recovery support groups. Also offers programs that address the specific needs of first responders, military veterans, and healthcare professionals.

Provides voluntary, short-term residential placement for adults in need of behavioral health services that are less restrictive than an inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Supports individuals in developing and achieving individual goals in order to resolve the acute crisis and achieve timely community reintegration.

Provides mental health services including emergency and crisis intervention, rehabilitation programs, individual and group counseling, family support programs, residential programs, and consumer-run services.

Assists to stabilize psychiatric crises and direct hospitalizations whenever possible. The unit provides psychiatric assessment, medication management and monitoring, and service linking. Additionally, the stabilization and diversion unit's daily schedule includes individual and group sessions aimed at promoting coping skills, symptom stabilization, and preparing for post-discharge.

Provides a Crisis Response Center for residential treatment of serious behavioral health issues such as bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and substance abuse, and also treats psychiatric issues caused by homelessness, unemployment, legal or financial problems, and physical illnesses such as HIV or AIDS.

Provides a residential treatment program for inpatient psychiatric care that provides assistance in a secure environment. Includes medication management and referrals to community-based behavioral health services.

Provides intensive, short-term residential treatment for individuals mental health and substance use use disorders.

Provides a voluntary residential stay program for adults who are having a mental health emergency.

Provides short-term residential accommodations and continuous supervision for eight individuals in psychiatric crisis. The program provides mental health and stabilization services as a voluntary alternative to hospitalization. Individuals enter the program for up to 10 days until they stabilize or other arrangements can be made for them.
