Crisis and Acute Care Services provides evaluations and make treatment recommendations for individuals in need. Emergency psychiatric evaluations are available as necessary. If inpatient treatment is needed the staff will assist in finding an inpatient facility and making a referral.

Provides support, encouragement, information, and assistance to victims of crime and their significant others. This includes helping victims navigate the legal system or explore their reporting options. Educates victims and survivors about their rights, and provides accompaniment to criminal court hearings, hospitals, police departments, SVP hearings (Sexual Violence Protection orders), and PFI hearings (Protection From Intimidation). Assists with Victim Impact Statements, filing for Victims Compensation, enrollment in the Crime Victim Notification Program, and registering for post-sentencing notifications. Offers crisis intervention, as well as information and referrals to appropriate legal and community resources.

Provides 24/7 emergency assistance to children, adolescents, adults and families who are in a state of mental health crisis. Assists with the development of a crisis plan and referral to identified needed levels of treatment care. Services are available over the phone, and in person at the office or with a mobile crisis counselor.
Provides educational programs for students, parents and professionals at schools, workplaces, community centers, etc. Programs include: A) Risk reduction/safety education programs for children from pre-k to college age B) Safety Rangers, a 10 week after school safety education program C) College, community, and professional training to law enforcement, medical personnel, community centers, teachers, etc. D) Mandated Reporter Training approved for schools by the PA Department of Education to meet ACT 126 Mandatory Reporter Training Requirements for educators.
