Provides individualized in-community support for adults and children who are in recovery from serious mental health challenges. Services available include: A) 24/7 crisis response B) Intervention and referral/linkage to medical, financial, and housing help

Services include Options/Crisis Counseling involving safety planning, domestic violence education, and connection to community resources; Short-term Counseling (6 to 12 sessions) addressing psychoeducation, safety planning, crisis support, emotion regulation, making meaning of trauma, and processing associated emotions; support groups; financial literary training and personal financial counseling to address any financial aspects of abuse; and parent support workshops.

Crisis and Acute Care Services provides evaluations and make treatment recommendations for individuals in need. Emergency psychiatric evaluations are available as necessary. If inpatient treatment is needed the staff will assist in finding an inpatient facility and making a referral.

Provides support, encouragement, information, and assistance to victims of crime and their significant others. This includes helping victims navigate the legal system or explore their reporting options. Educates victims and survivors about their rights, and provides accompaniment to criminal court hearings, hospitals, police departments, SVP hearings (Sexual Violence Protection orders), and PFI hearings (Protection From Intimidation). Assists with Victim Impact Statements, filing for Victims Compensation, enrollment in the Crime Victim Notification Program, and registering for post-sentencing notifications. Offers crisis intervention, as well as information and referrals to appropriate legal and community resources.

Handles psychiatric emergencies for individuals 18 and older and for businesses located in the West Philadelphia area. Services include but are not limited to: on-site evaluations, arranging voluntary and involuntary hospitalization, and crisis intervention. Referrals come from Mercy Crisis Response Center, and through Philadelphia Behavioral Health System.

Provides sensitive assistance and support for people who cannot resolve the impact of one or more of the following: atraumatic, overwhelming event; a death or other loss; a series of stressful events.

Psychiatric evaluation, to include medication consultation and ongoing medication management services are available. Walk-in crisis management and intervention services, in addition to the services of a Nurse Care Manager, are also available within the department.

Provides 24/7 emergency assistance to children, adolescents, adults and families who are in a state of mental health crisis. Assists with the development of a crisis plan and referral to identified needed levels of treatment care. Services are available over the phone, and in person at the office or with a mobile crisis counselor.

Provides educational programs for students, parents and professionals at schools, workplaces, community centers, etc. Programs include: A) Risk reduction/safety education programs for children from pre-k to college age B) Safety Rangers, a 10 week after school safety education program C) College, community, and professional training to law enforcement, medical personnel, community centers, teachers, etc. D) Mandated Reporter Training approved for schools by the PA Department of Education to meet ACT 126 Mandatory Reporter Training Requirements for educators.
