Offers a service for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that provides case management with intake for assessment, arrangement, and authorization for services, monitoring of services, and follow through regarding employment, housing, education, transportation, and counseling as appropriate.

Early Intervention is an entitlement program for children from birth to 3 years, who have a developmental delay of 25% or more in one or more of the major areas of development (physical, sensory, cognitive, language/speech, social-emotional and self-care). At-risk children, including infants affected by premature birth, alcohol, drugs or lead poisoning and infants who have been abused or neglected are eligible for services. An entitlement program means that any eligible child, regardless of financial status, is entitled to receive services. Services include, among others, family training, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and assessment which are coordinated by Support Coordinators.

Provides intensive therapeutic services to a child and family in settings other than a provider agency or office such as the home or school.

Provides mental health recovery services.

Provides Wraparound services which are medically prescribed intensive mental health services designed to provide supportive, time-limited, and individualized planned behavioral health interventions involving the child or adolescent, the family, and the treatment team.

Provides services and support designed to help families that have children with developmental delays. Staff creates opportunities for parents and children to come together for fun and learning, a place where they can have fun, get messy, and learn by touching, feeling, singing, and moving. Many of services can be provided wherever the child or family is experiencing difficulty such as daycare, grocery store, during mealtimes, etc.

Provides early intervention services to children. Qualifying children may be eligible to receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, hearing therapy, vision therapy, and special instruction. Each child is provided with a Service Coordinator who can be a resource and support for the child and family. All services are provided in families’ homes or the community.

Provides housing for thirteen adults, aged 18 and older, who have severe and persistent mental illness. While in the residence, consumers are given support to develop the skills needed to live more independently in the community. Full handicap accessibility is available. All referrals are made through the Philadelphia Behavioral System.

Assistance adults with a serious mental illness and children with a serious mental illness or emotional disturbance connect with and navigate available services and resources that will enable them to achieve their recovery goals while building skills that prepare them to independently live, work and participate in their communities. Blended Case Management is designed to help individuals gain access to medical, social, educational, vocational, and obtain needed mental health services, ensuring coordination of care and monitoring service delivery.

Offers a drop-in center for adults. Activities include: free daily lunch, arts and crafts, Wifi, laundry facilities, locker storage access, shower facilities, computer lab and more.

An early intervention program for individuals between the ages of 15-25 who are experiencing early signs of psychosis or their first episode of psychosis. Treatment is provided by a specialty coordinated care team. Services include: outpatient therapy, medication management, mobile therapy, case management, family education and support.

SAM provides case management services to individuals enrolled in the early intervention, mental health and intellectual disabilities case management program.

Provides classes, individual practitioner meetings, and community exploration related to meet a client's recovery goal (a commitment of 5 hours per week). Class sizes are limited to allow for focused work among participants.

Provides early intervention services in the community for children under the age of 3. Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, special instruction, and physical therapy. All services are one-to-one with the child. Service locations can include child's home, preschool, or other child care locations.

Offers an array of parent and family strengthening services to families experiencing child-related behavioral, relational, or situational challenges. Helps families to intervene early and minimize involvement in the dependency, delinquency, truancy and behavioral health systems. Services include initial assessment and service planning; individual, group and family counseling; case management; parenting support sessions; and more.

Offers a course on policy making, and speaking with legislators to leverage personal experiences with mental illness into political action.

Provides treatment to young adults who recently experienced their first episode of psychosis. Services include low-dose medication management, individual and group therapy, family psychoeducation and support, case management, supported education and employment, and peer support services. Services and treatment are offered for up to 2 years.

Provides Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services for therapeutic and behavioral treatment interventions. All services, with the exception of the evaluation process, are provided in the home and community.

Provides funding and administrative oversight for services in the community that support people and their families living with serious and persistent mental illness, children and adolescents with a mental health diagnosis, individuals with intellectual disability, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and children birth to age three (3) for early intervention services. Through an intake process, a person’s eligibility for services and funding is determined and referrals are made to appropriate programs that correspond to service needs.
