Free community meal open to anyone the first and last Sunday of each month from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Summer food programs offer free lunch, water games and activities for children 18 and under.

The Factory Ministries's Building Braves program educates parents, visits families in their homes, provides books and learning opportunities for the whole family so that children grow and thrive. The program's Early Learning and Elementary staff and programs empower families with tools and resources so that children can read better, graduate from high school, and become contributing members to the community. Offers a free summer meal to kids. Meals must be eaten on site.

Helps children, parents, caregivers, and others quickly and easily find summer meal sites near them. The mapping tool allows users to enter an address, city, state or zip code to find up to 50 nearby locations, along with their addresses, hours of operation, and contact information, and directions. Data, provided by states, will be updated throughout the summer to include new locations. To report incorrect data, please contact your state agency.

Sponsors USDA meal programs for children in schools, child care centers, afterschool programs, shelters, institutions and at sites during the summer. Also supports a network of food cupboards and outreach programs with food and resources.

Nutritional Development Services (NDS) provides food to children and those in need. Partnering with federal and community food programs such as the National School Lunch Program, the Child Care Program, the Summer Food Service Program and the At-Risk After School Snack Program, NDS acts as an intermediary between the hungry and social service nutrition programs in the Delaware Valley area.

Provides a community supplemental food pantry. Also provides extra food to families with school age children when schools are closed in the summer months.

Closes designated streets to traffic so that kids have a safe place to play when school is out. Playstreets supervisors open and close the streets to traffic each day. Parks & Rec's Summer Food Service Program provides daily lunches or snacks. Participants can use free play equipment and supplies.

Non-profit organization that provides after-school programs, arts activities, athletic programs, literacy instruction, recreation/leisure activities, STEAM lessons for children, tutoring and homework help for children and adolescents, and senior programs.

Provides free breakfasts and lunches to eligible children and youth at various sites around Westmoreland County for eight weeks each summer. The program operates from mid-June through early August each year.

Provides emergency assistance for individuals and families in crisis seeking help with food, clothing, shelter, rent, household utility expenses, and similar miscellaneous living needs.
