Youth Alternatives - Summer/After School Program

Provides multiple exciting activities during summer and school season for youth of Venango County. In addition to daily activities, offers swimming, movie day, bowling, picnics, and various other outings. Offers a nutritious meal throughout the summer. Offers a one-on-one homework assistance and a warm nutritious meal throughout the school year. Many of our activities are learning-based and incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

YMCA of Greater Erie - Parks & Recreation Program

Offers a wide variety of summer play and learning activities while building a healthy spirit, mind and body. Each day, Y staff leads hands-on-activities such as group games, board games, group sports, group fitness, art, and music. Free summer lunch is served daily. Program offered at Bayview Park, Burton Park, Columbus Park, McKinley Park, and Roger Young Pool.

Closes designated streets to traffic so that kids have a safe place to play when school is out. Playstreets supervisors open and close the streets to traffic each day. Parks & Rec's Summer Food Service Program provides daily lunches or snacks. Participants can use free play equipment and supplies.
