Provides multiple exciting activities during summer and school season for youth of Venango County. In addition to daily activities, offers swimming, movie day, bowling, picnics, and various other outings. Offers a nutritious meal throughout the summer. Offers a one-on-one homework assistance and a warm nutritious meal throughout the school year. Many of our activities are learning-based and incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Sponsors USDA meal programs for children in schools, child care centers, afterschool programs, shelters, institutions and at sites during the summer. Also supports a network of food cupboards and outreach programs with food and resources.

Non-profit organization that provides after-school programs, arts activities, athletic programs, literacy instruction, recreation/leisure activities, STEAM lessons for children, tutoring and homework help for children and adolescents, and senior programs.

Provides a community supplemental food pantry. Also provides extra food to families with school age children when schools are closed in the summer months.

Offers a free summer meal for kids

Distributes FMNP vouchers to WIC eligible households. Vouchers can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables from farm markets across Pennsylvania. Contact the office to learn more about applying for this summer program.

Provides free nutritious meals and snacks to needy children. Free program that works hand in hand with our After School and Summer of Success Programs.

Providing a free summer lunch cafe to the local community. All lunches are prepared in a nut-free facility.

Closes designated streets to traffic so that kids have a safe place to play when school is out. Playstreets supervisors open and close the streets to traffic each day. Parks & Rec's Summer Food Service Program provides daily lunches or snacks. Participants can use free play equipment and supplies.

Provides food programs such as, Pop-up Pantries, in-school self-served pantry, student backpack program and summer feeding programs.

Provides Summer meals for children who normally receive subsidized meals from their school. Serves two healthy meals a day-either breakfast or snack and a hot lunch while school is on break.

Provides free breakfasts and lunches to eligible children and youth at various sites around Westmoreland County for eight weeks each summer. The program operates from mid-June through early August each year.

Offers a free summer meal program to all community members ages 18 and under in the Reading School District. Held at each of their elementary schools, Central MS, Northwest MS, and Northeast MS. All meals must be consumed on-site.

Offers a 6-week leadership program for high school youth and a 4-week summer camp program for children grades 2-5. The program is designed to develop the leadership potential, cultural identities, and social justice consciousness of youths and campers, so that they can make a positive difference and create change in their communities.

Provides food, nutritional education program (Fulton County Super Cupboard), gardening program each Spring, Summer school lunch program, school backpack program, and budget/lifestyle counseling.

Provides emergency assistance for individuals and families in crisis seeking help with food, clothing, shelter, rent, household utility expenses, and similar miscellaneous living needs.

Provides access to nutritious food through programs such as School Pantry, Kids Cafe, Backpack, and Summer Meals. Coordinates programs in conjunction with local school districts and municipalities.

Operates a food bank. Accepts donations.

Nutritional Development Services (NDS) provides food to children and those in need. Partnering with federal and community food programs such as the National School Lunch Program, the Child Care Program, the Summer Food Service Program and the At-Risk After School Snack Program, NDS acts as an intermediary between the hungry and social service nutrition programs in the Delaware Valley area.

Free community meal open to anyone the first and last Sunday of each month from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Summer food programs offer free lunch, water games and activities for children 18 and under.
