Drop-In Centers are informal community centers that provide a support network for adults facing mental health challenges.

Offers a variety of services designed to improve or support the consumer's adjustment and integration within the family and community through rehabilitative activities, social skills development, recreational or educational programs, activities of daily living, skills development, and other supportive services. Specific programs include: adult developmental training, family support services (FSS), clubhouses, and drop-in centers.

Provides Crisis Hotline, Mobile Crisis, and a Drop-in Center to offer crisis counseling, resolution, suicide prevention, risk assessment, support and referrals.

Offers assistance with applying for benefits, job applications, resume building, accessing clothing, and other supports as needed. Also offers opportunities to receive CPR training, become ServSafe and OSHA certified and other trainings as available.

Offers Community/Drop In Center and a shelter for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness in Pittsburgh/Allegheny County. Also provides emotional support and resources to help LGBTQ+ youth develop the skills needed to live independently.

Offers a mental health drop in center. Activities include shopping trips, pool and dart tournaments, arts and crafts, meal preparation, dances, movie nights, and board games. Provides Peer Support, Mobile Psych Rehab, Service Access Management and Jeff Tech.

Offers structured activities and safe spaces for youth who are at risk, and those who have come to the attention of the Philadelphia Police after a curfew violation. Programs offered include job readiness training, coding, conflict resolution, violent prevention, mentoring, service linkages, family engagement, and other activities. Provides referral service for families needing additional resources and services.

A drop-in center (a day shelter) open to all adults. There are 3 meals a day, showers, lockers, assisting with IDs, an employment navigator, Street Medicine, parish nurses, case managers, intensive case managers for homeless individuals with mental illness, street outreach, coordinated entry, landlord engagement navigator, life skills, coping skills, and various housing programs offering short and long term rental assistance. Serves adult consumers of mental health services by providing them with educational, recreational, and socialization opportunities.

Provides a telephone crisis hotline, text crisis, drop-in location and mobile crisis unit.

Offers health promotion programs including exercise, chronic condition management, and health assessments. Activities may include Tai Chi, line dancing, yoga, nutrition, injury prevention, emotional wellness, art, music, and healthy aging classes. Operates as a cooling center during extreme heat emergencies (Code Red).

Provides a recovery oriented, consumer-run environment where people with mental illness have the opportunity for community integration, socialization, peer support, empowerment and self-advocacy. Provides structured, consumer-chosen activities, groups, and projects to assist in the recovery journey.

Provides a social gathering place where children with serious, chronic, or terminal illnesses or disabilities and their families can drop in to play or socialize with other people going through similar experiences.

Offers high speed internet, a pool table, a Nintendo Wii, and a daily meal prepared by members.

Provides a safe, open environment where everyone is welcome, including children and youth for after-school hours. Provides career skills training for youth and individuals with low income. Assists individuals with learning about and connecting to various opportunities, supportive services, and resources in the community.

Offers social activities, pool tournaments, classes, community activities, and a safe place for adults with a mental health diagnosis to give and receive support. Offers advocacy services, peer support, and a free nutritious lunch.

Offers social rehabilitation for individuals in a relaxed, enjoyable non-threatening environment. The facility provides recreational activities and equipment for individuals with a history of mental illness.

Babysitting services are available for children while their parents participate in activities at the YMCA facility. 24 hours notice is required for care of children under age 18 months; others can drop in during available care hours without notification. Hours are as follows: Mondays ----------------- Tuesdays from 8:45am to 11:00am Wednesdays -------------- Thursdays from 8:45am to 11:00am Fridays ------------------- Saturdays from 7:30am to 10:45am
