Extreme Heat Cooling Programs
Offers many opportunities to better your physical and emotional health with Tai Chi, Healthy Steps, and Silver Sneakers. Facility has an exercise room equipped with stationary bikes, treadmills, weights, etc., as well as an indoor walking track. Recreational activities available in the form of Euchre cards, bingo, games, puzzles, etc. Coffee, read the paper, or use a computer. Serves lunch Monday through Friday.
Offers aging adults and their families support, guidance, education, and social programs to help navigate life transitions and seniors continue to be active, healthy and engaged. Operates as a cooling center during extreme heat emergencies (Code Red).

Senior center lunch program provides a meal. Individuals must call by 10:00am one day in advance for lunch reservation. Open to adults 60 years and older. Attendees may make a donation toward the cost of the meal. Guests under the age of 60 pay full price. Open Monday through Friday.

Senior Center Services offers nutritional, recreational, educational, and social activities at 7 GECAC operated senior centers located throughout Erie city and county. Line dancing, billiards, art classes, card parties, gardening, and field trips are just a few of the activities that go on at the senior centers. Senior Centers also provide a nutritious noon meal, a chance to visit with friends, and opportunities for health screenings and consumer workshops. Access to these sites is aided by transportation services purchased from the LIFT. The Farmer's Market Nutrition Program is operated by the Senior Center Services component.

Offers various classes and activities. Speakers come in once a month and health screenings done once a month. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, 11:45am. Individuals must call one day in advance for lunch reservation. Open to adults, 60 and over. Attendees are asked to make a donation of $2.00 or what they can afford for meals (Guests under 60 pay $4.00). Transportation is available through Carbon County Transit ($18 for book of tickets). Must register in order to receive reduced fares (based on income and distance traveled).
