Operates as a cooling station for those who cannot adequately cool their homes or do not have a place to cool down.

Offers a community facility in which older persons can make new friends, learn a skill, enhance significance, preserve dignity, or just kick back and enjoy life. Provides a hot nutritionally balanced lunch, a wide variety of recreational activities including bingo, pinochle and other card games, board games, creative writing, arts & crafts, song, dance, and live entertainment, and a variety of bus trips and outings. Assists in medical services with a registered nurse who comes every month to check weight and blood pressure and can answer or make referrals on medical questions. Additionally, a certified podiatrist comes to the center every 9 weeks for toenail cutting and minor foot problems.

Offers various classes and activities. Speakers come in once/month and health screenings done once/month. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, 12:00pm. Individuals must call one day in advance for lunch reservation. Open to adults, 60 and over. Attendees are asked to make a donation of $2.00 or what they can afford for meals. Van transportation is available through Carbon County Transit ($18 for book of tickets). Must register in order to receive reduced fares (based on income and distance traveled).
