Centers promote healthy aging by giving older adults access to multiple resources to keep them active and independent.

Provides listing of Allegheny County Senior centers offering activities geared to the social, intellectual, cultural, economic, emotional, and physical needs or interests of adults 60 years of age and older. Lunch is available Monday through Friday in the senior centers.

Activities may include Tai Chi, line dancing, yoga, nutrition, injury prevention, emotional wellness, art, music, and healthy aging classes. Operates as a cooling center during extreme heat emergencies (Code Red).
