Provides government services for Delaware County, including emergency services, aging services, adult and family services, permits, human services, and election services.

Chester County Health Department provides personal and environmental health services to residents and visitors so that they may grow, live and work in healthy and safe community.

Provides assistance to veterans and their families with applying for the benefits they have earned during their service.

Provides public health protection by permitting, licensing and inspecting eating and drinking establishments, camps and campgrounds, mobile home parks, swimming pools, on-lot sewage systems and individual wells. Operates clinics that provide immunizations, testing for childhood lead poisoning, HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and tuberculosis (TB), and treatment for STD and TB.

Provides deeds, wills, and marriage licenses. Offers assistance in obtaining and gathering any needed documents.

Responsible for preparing Complaints and Petitions for the establishment and enforcement of child support, spousal support and/or alimony pendente lite orders for the Court. Domestic Relations will also establish paternity when necessary, locate missing parents and resolve medical insurance and expense issues between separated parents.

Lackawanna County Government offices.

Assists the community to prepare for, manage through, and recover from any type of natural disaster, security threat, and emergent situation. Ensures that all residents of Susquehanna County are well informed and prepared for any type of emergency we may encounter.

Administers County Courts, including both criminal and civil divisions.

Registers voters and manages elections for York County. Handles requests, such as: Handing in Mail-In and Absentee Ballots, Updating your registration, Applying for a ballot, and Handing in campaign finance. All new voter registrations and changes of address, name, or party affiliation must be recorded and maintained.

Filing office for Civil Actions and municipal, state, and federal tax lien notices. Keeps records of naturalizations, financing statement filed in secured transactions, judgements, indexes to and charter of corporations, immigration records, divorce and custody records. Receives petitions in mental competence cases (mental competence cases, by law, are not public information).

Acts as a liaison with the Wayne County Board of Commissioners and human service agencies, oversees the administration of all County human service agencies, acts as a coordinative unit for all County contract human service agencies, and facilitates the access of citizens to service coordination.

Provides the following services for Franklin County: Records all documents pertaining to land records, deeds, mortgages, etc.; Handles the probate of estates upon death for executors or administrators; Collection agency for the Department of Revenue for State Realty Transfer Tax and Inheritance Tax; Records Military Discharge Records. All documents listed above are registered, recorded, and filed within this office.

Provides a means of communication between clients of DHS services in Philadelphia to ask questions, file complaints, and case support.

Keeps recording and real estate documents in the county of York, Pennsylvania. Records military discharge papers and notary bonds/commissions.

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of designated services to the public and managing other county government functions.

Manages the jury system, arbitration system, publishes the annual court calendar; prepares civil and criminal trial list, prepares the budgets for the courts and district justices; annual statistical reports for the court; supervises the district justice court.

Collects all delinquent property taxes/delinquent real estate taxes on behalf of the school district, local municipalities, and the county.

Provides flood protection, reservoir water supplies, water science, and information and planning to the citizens of Chester County in an effort to sustain the natural quality, quantity, and biodiversity of the County's water resources. Programs include flood protection, storm and water quality improvement, sustainable water resources management, and water information and outreach. This service does not supply water.

The Assessment Office shall assess all parcels of real property for the purpose of ad valorem (at value) taxation. Also administers the "Clean and Green" program and "Homestead and Farmstead Property Exclusion" .

Provides the following services: MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION - provides Franklin County residents with marriage licenses. An online application is available. CERTIFIED DUPLICATE MARRIAGE LICENSE - The Clerk’s Office will only have record of marriages APPLIED for in Franklin County. Certified Duplicates are $8.00/each - Years available 1885-Present ***When calling or at the Office please be prepared with Bride/Groom names at application and exact date of marriage.
