Program areas include, but are not limited to, GED tutoring and testing, Rental payment assistance, Homelessness prevention, Child Care Subsidies, Weatherization and home energy conservation programs, medical assistance transportation, utility payment assistance, and more.

Dedicated to combating poverty in Carbon County. All programs have income guidelines. Agency provides case management services to assess each individual's needs and will provide information and referral to applicable outside and agency operated services based on that assessment.

Provides individualized case management services to help individuals and families in Schuylkill County access resources, overcome barriers, and achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency. Services may include: • Utility Assistance: Assistance with utility affordability programs, including PPL OnTrack, Operation HELP, UGI Customer Assistance Program (CAP), and Operation Share. Services may include eligibility screening, application assistance, and support with reducing past-due utility balances. • Emergency Assistance: Limited assistance with food, clothing vouchers, transportation (bus tickets), prescription costs, diapers, baby items, and personal hygiene products. • Identification and Documentation: Assistance obtaining or replacing Pennsylvania photo IDs, birth certificates, and other essential documents. • Information and Referrals: Connections to community resources and partner agencies based on individual needs. • Comprehensive Case Management: One-on-one support to assess needs, develop goals, coordinate services, and address barriers affecting long-term stability and well-being.
