Provides assistance in: A) Medical care and mental healthcare B) Freedom from retaliation and freedom from assault and sexual abuse C) Personal safety and freedom from assault and sexual abuse D) Access to the courts E) Religious accommodations and disability accommodations F) Clean, safe, and humane living conditions

Provides information for the public at large, advocates reform within the criminal justice system, provides care and aftercare for both offenders and their victims, mentors training for ex-offenders, and prison tours.

Provides advocacy, legal representation, emancipation services, and litigation working to protect and advance children's rights in courts, legislatures, and executive agencies. Cases are pursued at all levels in both the federal and state court systems.

Enhances the quality, coordination, and planning within the criminal and juvenile justice systems to facilitate the delivery of services to victims of crime and to increase the safety of communities. Offers grants to organizations through a wide variety of programs. Provides victims' compensation for individual victims of crime.
