Collaborates with City of Philadelphia officials to provide valuable services and resources to homeowners and residents in the community during a once a year event. Some of the partnering agencies and organizations include: Vital Records, Philadelphia Water Department (PWD), Philadelphia Energy Company (PECO), Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), the Streets Department and much more.

Provides information on fair housing laws and accepts complaints of housing discrimination in sale, rental or financing of housing due to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Accepts complaints.

Provides training sessions for fair housing laws that allow consumers and service providers to recognize housing discrimination. Trained providers teach responsibilities under the law and best practices for compliance. Educational materials are also available upon request.

Offers HUD/FHA mortgage insurance, low and moderate income and elderly housing programs, community development assistance to local governments, and financial and technical assistance to organizations administering ongoing HUD programs, projects, and developments. Literature and speakers available.

Provides legal representation to victims of housing discrimination in connection with the rental or sale of property, accessibility, mortgage lending, advertising, and other contexts. Also provides legal assistance in connection with administrative investigation and enforcement, aiding the complainant with complaint preparation, and presentation of claims.

Partners with qualified individuals and families to build or rehabilitate homes that they then purchase, at-cost, with zero- or low-interest mortgages.

Provides consumers with information on a range of housing issues, including foreclosures and reverse mortgages, and referrals to approved local housing counseling agencies. Responsible for national policy and programs that address America's housing needs, that improve and develop the Nation's communities, and enforce fair housing laws.

Serves as a housing advocacy group.

Assists individuals in the Greater Pittsburgh Area who believe they have experienced housing discrimination (in rental, sales, mortgage, or homeowner's insurance processes) by enforcing fair housing laws, aiding persons with disabilities with requesting reasonable accommodations, and providing community outreach and education. Services include advocacy, assistance in filing reasonable accommodation requests and fair housing complaints, investigating discrimination claims, references to qualified attorneys, education of landlords and real estate professions, and building community awareness.

Offers housing counseling, emergency energy assistance, language services, and outpatient substance use disorder treatment.

Provides and promotes innovative leadership in the development of affordable homes and viable communities while empowering people to develop thriving diverse neighborhoods.

Conducts intakes and investigations of discrimination complaints in housing, employment, and public accommodations. Monitors and reports hate crimes and other civil tensions within the City and surrounding areas, working with local, state, and federal agencies. Advocates for the civil rights of all citizens of the city.
