Provides emergency confidential foster care for the pet of victims leaving a situation of domestic violence.

Helps low-income individuals and families maintain and care for their pets by providing supplemental food, treats and occasional toys for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Provides food for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, fish, and turtles when available.

Provides a client choice food pantry to food-insecure individuals and families and their pets. Volunteer opportunities available.

Offers opportunities to volunteer at the rescue. Accepts donations in the form of pet food, gift cards, or other monetary donations.

Volunteer opportunities are available -- volunteers, age 12-17, must be accompanied by a parent. Donations of animal care items and pet food are accepted anytime.

Takes donations of pet food to feed other needy animals in the community via the pet food bank at HSHA's shelter. The HSHA pet food bank is available to participating local food banks and animal welfare organizations, as well as, local residents.
