Provides community outreach and education, independent living skills, information on adaptive technologies/equipment, advocacy, information and referral, peer support, sign language interpreter referral service and specialized housing search and support. Provides information on programs that will pay for home modifications (to increase accessibility). Transportation & Housing Support Connect individuals with disabilities who are homeless to shelters Assistive Technology Offers Information and Assistance for Assistive Technology and Adaptive Equipment inquiries; Supports the Assistive Technology Lending Library/loan program offered statewide; Offers Funding information for Assistive Technology; houses a Reused Equipment Exchange Program, and more.

Provides medical equipment and supplies for use in the home. Items are donated and made available to those in need. Available include hospital beds, walkers, wheelchair, potty chairs, shower seats, transfer assist chairs, adult diapers/pull ups, wound care bandages, bed pads, etc. Accepts donated items. However, medical supplies i.e. diapers, bandages must be new, un-opened, not out-dated supplies.

Offers Pennsylvania residents who may not have the funds necessary to acquire the assistive technology devices such as walkers, Hoyer lifts, bath seats and toilet seats, transfer benches and transfer boards, bedside commodes, over bed tables, manual wheelchairs, daily living aids (eating, dressing, etc.), assistive listening devices, blind/low vision aids, adapted telephones, communication and computer-related devices, canes and crutches, adaptive games, toys, and recreational devices that would allow them to live, work, and play as independently as possible in the communities of their choice are able to get the equipment for little to no cost. Allows individuals to donate or obtain gently used assistive technology devices.

Lends wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, commodes, and other small articles for private use. Accepts donations.

Provides up to $1,500 per fiscal year to purchase wheelchairs, crutches, and other adaptive devices. Please contact SBADV for a list of approved items.

Assures access to assistive technology. Services include device demonstrations to assist individuals and families in deciding what may best meet their needs. Accepts and provides donated medical equipment, i.e. walkers. weelchairs.

Accepts donations of new or gently used canes, crutches, rollator walkers, manual wheelchairs, nebulizers, general medical supplies, and more. Visit the website for a full list of items that are (and are not) accepted. All items must be in good condition (not broken, no rust, and no missing parts).

Rescuing viable, durable medical equipment and supplies and redistributing them to people in need. Helping disabled, elderly and recovering patients find the tools and services they need. Connecting people with different types of disabilities to each other and their community.

Opportunities to volunteer at John's Way. Also accepts donations of medical equipment in good working order.

Participates as a drop-off location for John's Way medical equipment ministry.
