Administers the services and programs of the City of Lebanon including: permits and licenses, recreation, community and economic development, accounts and finances, engineering, traffic, highway, recycling, building and zoning, shade trees, bureau of police, and public safety.

Maintains digital mapping for counties.

Provides planning and zoning services such as review and approval of subdivision and land development plans, review and approval of proposed change of use, building expansions, new signs, off-street parking, storage sheds and fences as per zoning regulations. Responds to general questions about development, zoning regulations, and historic review Provides maps.

Provides direction and technical assistance to property owners, architects, general contractors, and developers regarding zoning, land development, planning maps, use of buildings, property site improvements, rehabilitation of historic structures and the requirements of City land use, and development and subdivision regulations.

Provides current information on events, activities, and resources available in the greater Elizabethtown area. Supports the local business environment through business development seminars, business referrals, special events, relocation information, networking opportunities, design assistance, and more.
